  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

My nomination

[edit]

Hello! I am answering to your e-mail here as it's preferable that all the article-related communication takes place on Wikipedia. I have nominated the article you created Katie Larmour as in my opinion it doesn't meet the notability criteria set my the guidelines WP:N, WP:GNG. In order to be considered notable the subject should be covered by multiple independent reliable secondary sources in detail. This means that 5 of 6 sources provided on the page right now can't be used as they are user generated. Also EVERY statement in the biographies of living people should be backed by a source. After WP:BEFORE (research) I have found just 3 article in the same newspaper which are also barely usable. Therefore I believe the article should be deleted. If you can provide multiple independent reliable secondary sources that would speak about the subject in detail - please do add them to the article.
