Number of MEPs members of European parties[edit]

Hi FreakingEmu,

I see the change you made to the page on European political parties, as you changed the number of MEPs that are members of European parties. However, from your note, I see that you took that data from the Wikipedia page for the European Parliament and those numbers seem to come from the respective pages of European parties, and I am not sure these numbers are accurate. At least, I do not find a consistent source.

Instead, I think the most reliable source is the APPF, which regularly posts the official number of MEPs that are members of European political parties. Sticking to this source would ensure that the numbers displayed are accurate, consistent, and regularly updated.

Now I note that the numbers were actually updated by the APPF, so what I would recommend is to undo your changes and update to the most recent APPF figures (then, the re-ordering between the lines of the table will depend on those figures).

What do you think?

Best,

Hi Julius,
I think that's a great idea. I didn't look much further into it. As I read it now I agree that the APPF numbers should be used!
Kind regards,

Perfect! Made the changes and it should be all good now. Actually, conversely, it would be a good idea to update the parties' respective pages with that official data. I'll look into that. Have a great day!
