Thanks for uploading File:FDHolleman1930-1940LeidenSpecialCollectionsPK-PT-356.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Netherlands-South African Railway Company, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Crocodile River. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 06:09, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

BTW Did you actually mean "Not credited in source" over unknown? A minor consideration, but one that's useful for determining status. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 14:41, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Anna de Koningh

[edit]

Hello, . It has been over six months since you last edited your Articles for Creation draft article submission, "Draft:Anna de Koningh".

Vandalism

[edit]

I'm not sure about what exactly you're talking about but to ensure quality of this medium requires facts or atleast logical stances, if my edits are not what I'm mentioning I'd like you to point out of which article do you have a problem because the scum van riebeeck was sensible to people having problems, so what vandalism are you on about? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Untrammeled (talkcontribs) 18:47, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it was about the Van Riebeeck edit and some edits on the page on Ethnic Groups in South Africa. I concede that you have made other edits which were indeed useful. Look I agree with you both pages are problematic but there are better ways of going about this. Francoisdjvr (talk) 12:25, 27 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Medupi Power Station

[edit]

Thanks for your tireless work, reverting vandalism in Medupi Power Station. If you didn't already know, this new surge was instigated by the journalist Tom Eaton, applauding the vandals on Twitter. -- YaguraStation (talk) 13:38, 19 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I was wondering why that page specifically was getting so much attention - and exactly the same vandalism nearly every time. Francoisdjvr (talk) 14:44, 19 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hendrik Muller Szn. moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Hendrik Muller Szn., does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. buidhe 10:40, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Hendrik Muller Szn. has been accepted

The article has been assessed as Stub-Class, which is recorded on the article's talk page. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!

Hi! I did some major copy editing/rewriting on the "incomprehensible" Nicolaas Smit article, which you seem to have an interest in. I'm not familiar with that part of the world or its history, so please feel free to look the article over and correct any major errors I may have inadvertently introduced. Cheers!
