Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:FishburneLawrence.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:LawrenceFishburne.jpg. The copy called Image:LawrenceFishburne.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and remember exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 00:47, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
Hello. I really think we do not need a standalone article for this, hence my redirect to Emoticon. Also, please learn about internal links! There's no need to add whole urls for a wikilink. De728631 (talk) 23:39, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Duna.svg
Thanks for uploading File:Duna.svg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:05, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
- This was an accidental upload. The image should be deleted as it is a duplicate. Not sure if this will happen since I'm responding to a bot here. :P –Fpmfpm (talk) 23:06, 13 February 2016 (UTC)

The article R/fuckcars has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The CNet article is substantial, but the remainder are very passing mentions and Gnews didn't give any better results. Doesn't seem notable, perhaps can be redirected somewhere?
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fram (talk) 08:04, 26 July 2022 (UTC)

We use the common spelling Hawaii rather than the traditional spelling Hawaiʻi in the text of articles. Please revert your edits to reflect the common spelling. Thank you. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 05:12, 29 July 2023 (UTC)
- To note, there are dozens and dozens of articles on the wiki which I've been encountering for over a decade that don't follow this arbitrary convention. Many proper names of things are spelled including the ʻokina, e.g. Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, as well, but I'd assume those are exempt from this at the very least. I also wouldn't say "traditional spelling" is the ideal term here, and would instead suggest the framing that "Hawaii" is the anglicized spelling – but neither these are more official or conventional than the other. Out of curiosity and to help me get up to speed with this all, can you link me to any previous discussion on this? I was going to revert my edits on KITV to reflect the context & content of the page, but I see you've already gone ahead and done this. I see this in my notification log and an explanation there would have sufficed, but nonetheless thanks for the heads up. –Fpmfpm (talk) 05:24, 29 July 2023 (UTC)
- It looks like the most recent discussion for the Hawaii article itself was here. At other articles, there have been different considerations (for instance, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa is at that title presumably in part because the university's official name includes the okina, which is widely followed when others refer to it). Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Yotsuba Koiwai.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Yotsuba Koiwai.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 16:34, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
- I've added more information to the file description to make its use case even clearer. A "detailed non-free use rationale" is provided. –Fpmfpm (talk)
Non-free use of File:Yotsuba Koiwai.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Yotsuba Koiwai.jpg. However, there is a concern that the use of the image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. Details of this problem, and which specific criteria that the image may not meet, can be obtained by going to the image description page. If you feel that this image does meet those criteria, please place a note on the image description or talk page explaining why. Do not remove the {{di-fails NFCC}} tag itself.
An administrator will review this file within a few days, and having considered the opinions placed on the image page, may delete it in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion or remove the tag entirely. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 17:04, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
