I'm trying to create a template for my user page, and there is an image I'd like to use, but I don't know how to shrink the image down to the size necessary for a template.

I am unsure as to wher such a page ought to be created, so where do I create a page for an editor review?

Just create exactly this page: Wikipedia:Editor review/FozzyMaple. GeorgeMoney (talk) 21:36, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would lke to get an editor review, but am unsure of how to do so, even after reading the entire section on it .

Just create the page Wikipedia:Editor review/FozzyMaple and type {{subst:Editor-review|FozzyMaple|Statement}} on it. Then click here and add the following to the top:
{{Wikipedia:Editor review/FozzyMaple}}

Welcome!

Hello, FozzyMaple, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

helpme

[edit]

I would like to insert pictures into a couple of articles which I am working on, but can only manage to get a grey box with a red hyperlink, no picture, so how does one go about inserting pictures into articles?

Images have to be appropriately licensed and uploaded to the wikipedia servers. You can see more about this at WP:IMAGE. If you have specific questions or need help with the copyright requirements, please readd the helpme tag with your question --pgk(talk) 20:15, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your editor review

[edit]

Hi! I noticed that your editor review was filled out incorrectly, so I took the liberty of setting it up properly to make it easier for the reviewers. The page now includes two questions that you should answer if you have a spare moment, and please also add a brief description of your Wiki-self just above the "Reviews" section.

I'll post a review for you when I have a chance (I'm in Physics class at the moment :) ), but I thought I should tell you about this now. Cheers, Daveydweeb (chat/patch) 01:40, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
