AfC notification: Draft:Spencer Brown (American football running back) has a new comment
[edit]He is currently on the Carolina Panthers as a rookie. His first season will be this fall. There are 2 individuals named Spencer Brown who will have their first season this fall. This Spencer Brown is an all time record holder at an FBS program and the other holds few stats at a second tier FCS program. There has been a lot of confusion around the two players with people listing the wrong university when referencing them. The other one already has a Wikipedia page so perhaps this adds some clarification. This Carolina Panthers Spencer Brown holds major trading card deals with the top 3 companies including a full rookie card deal with panini. Footballguru302 (talk) 12:57, 12 June 2021 (UTC)

I am not and have never been paid or received anything in value for making a submission or edit on Wikipedia. I live in Mobile Alabama and am aware of the athletes I have contributed to. I believe only one submission qualifies for Wikipedia as the other has not met the requirements for becoming a notable athlete at this time. He may in the future so I didn’t delete the account but it can certainly be deleted. I have never discussed Wikipedia pages or edits with any other person who may know or benefit from it with the athletes.
I would like to be able to contribute relevant information for local players that come out of Alabama smaller schools or even larger schools like Velus Jones in the future to bring some notary to football in this region. I don’t really have the time to go in and edit often and most of the contributions I think to made are often made faster by other contributors. Footballguru302 (talk) 21:50, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
- (Non-administrator comment) It took me two seconds to find out that you and the subject of one of your rejected articles for creation use similar versions of the same username across social media, and that wasn't the only thing you have in common. I suggest that you read up more thoroughly on how Wikipedia defines "paid editing" and "conflict of interest". Being honest with the admins and your fellow editors about your COI, answering their questions in your replies, and familiarizing yourself with Wikipedia policy are your best chance for being unblocked.
