The image File:Bandera heterosexual.PNG isn't too bad, but it can only really be used on the article if there's some evidence of its use in the world outside Wikipedia. If it's your own personal invention, without wider acceptance from others, then it can't go on the article. AnonMoos (talk) 07:58, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I presume the 3 scattered dots on the far east of this mal represent the Western Yugur language.

Please remove them per the sources at Talk:Karluk_languages, because Western Yugur is a Siberian Turkic, and not a Karluk Turki language.Rajmaan (talk) 23:35, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi/Hola Fobos92, first of all congratulations for your maps. The graphic design of this map is pretty good. However, the early stages of the map are not very accurate. Since the Navarro-Aragonese article is largely composed by me I can help making linguistic boundaries more precise. The fact is that it was a multilingual environment where you add yellow colour. The sub-Pyrenean valleys and at least rural areas of the central Pyrenees were Basque speaking up to some point between the 11 or 14th century (17th probably in the Jaca region). Of course post-Latin languages (Occitan first and Navarro-Aragonese later with its link to Mozarabic) started to develop around the main roads and urban areas since 11th century. Basque was banned in Huesca's very marketplace in 1349! We could talk in Spanish, better in your wikimedia commons talk-page, but I do not know where it is. A tag has been placed on Category:Gambia–Spain relations requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Third party sources

[edit]

WP requires showing notability by references providing substantial coverage from third-party independent reliable sources. It might seem to stand to reason that the relationships between two countries can be shown to be notable by official sources, but the English Wikipedia nonetheless requires third party sources from newspaers os the like. I didn't make the rule, and I'm not sure I altogether agree with it, but nonetheless your articles may well be challenged for lack of such sources. DGG ( talk ) 09:30, 27 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Nepal–Spain relations has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Entire article is sourced from primary sources. No third party coverage to meet GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:01, 2 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
