Dear jonkerz. Thank you very much for your edits and your warm welcome message. I am new to Wikipedia and still learning but am very happy to receive your comments. I hope I did well with my first new page. I look forward to making my next contribution. Florestan2013 (talk) 14:03, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome, and thank you for creating the article! I forgot to add a DEFAULTSORT, but I see you have already taken care of that; you're a quick learner :) I think you did a good job on the article, especially considering that it was your first. I converted the list into a table to make it sortable by title/date/etc (I also made some other minor tweaks such as removing the Japanese name of the lyricist/composer/arranger where an English article is linked). Unfortunately the automatic numbering system does not work in tables, so these have to be added manually. Another thing you can do if you want to is to convert the lyricist/composer/arranger column into three new columns to make the singles sortable by these attributes as well. Best wishes, jonkerz ♠talk 16:32, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much for your advice. I typed in the numbers and have also made separate columns for lyricist/composer/arranger. I have also fixed some typos. Then I noticed names in the charts will be sorted by first names instead of last names. Do I have to use "Display none" and re-type all names in last name/first name order? Or is there a better way to do so? Florestan2013 (talk) 14:46, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Great :)

Use {{sortname}} for this, it displays the name and adds the display none thing.

I used RegEx to add the sortname template to all names (see User:Jonkerz/debug), but it didn't work well for links (due to the "|" character) so these have to be fixed manually using this syntax: {{sortname|first|last|target}}. Use the code from my subpage, it may look messy, but cleaning it up will be much quicker than adding the template manually 300+ times. Imagine typing this by hand! ;) jonkerz ♠talk 22:59, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
