Speedy deletion nomination of GRAM Role-Playing Game
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on GRAM Role-Playing Game requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ∰Bellezzasolo✡ Discuss 21:50, 3 April 2018 (UTC) @Bellezzasolo: While I was contesting the deletion flag, the pages were deleted. Can we continue to discuss this or is the case closed?
- Contested deletion
This article should not be speedy deleted as being about a subject that was invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally and for lack of asserted importance, because... the game has been released and needs to be cataloged as it will be premiering this year at several conventions. This can be confirmed at http://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse/pub/5117/GRAM-RPG and will be updated by the community and not maintained exclusively by me, the creator. Please let me know if you have any questions.
- I've CSD'd the talk page, but I've copied this across. Regarding the article, it's worth taking a look at Wp:Notability, as there are some special notability criteria. However, other than that, you need to satisfy WP:GNG. If and when it does generate the required coverage, then you can ask for a WP:REFUND. ∰Bellezzasolo✡ Discuss 22:45, 3 April 2018 (UTC)
- Probably the best applicable is WP:NGAME. It's framed for video games, but probably applies to board games too. As a side note, that ping didn't notify me, as the post wasn't signed. ∰Bellezzasolo✡ Discuss 22:50, 3 April 2018 (UTC)
