Where are you from?[edit]

Can I just enquire as to what country you are from? Thanks--liquidGhoul 05:10, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What are the conditions on Image:ChubbyFrog 03.jpg?[edit]

I just noticed that you uploaded Image:ChubbyFrog 03.jpg and put a "conditional use" licence template on it, but didn't actually provide any conditions. Could you clarify it, please? Bryan 08:51, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Amphibians and Reptiles Portal
Rhacodactylus ciliatus

I'm glad to announce that The Amphibians and reptiles portal (P:AAR) has been created and is ready for you to use. This portal covers any subjects related to amphibians, reptiles, herpetology, as well as WikiProject Amphibians and Reptiles.

Purposes of the portal

  • to act as the "main page" for editors interested in amphibians and reptiles. The portal page should contain all the common and useful links to relevant articles, lists, categories, as well as the project tasklist. As this portal is your tool, please feel free to organize, modify, or expand the Topics, Categories, Lists, and Tasklist sections of the portal as you see fit.
  • to lead potential AAR editors to WikiProject Amphibians and Reptiles as well as to educate general readers. Feel free to add more items for the "Did you know..." section.

Thank you for reading. If you have any questions, please leave them on the portal talk page or my user talk page. --Melanochromis

At WikiProject Amphibians and Reptiles, we recently did a purge of the members list, which your name was on. Please re-add your username as well as your area of expertise at our list of participants if you plan to stay active in this Wikiproject. Also, a discussion is going on regarding the standardization of taxonomy in lizard articles, located in this section. We'd like to have some more voices in this matter. Thanks everyone! bibliomaniac15 23:16, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NowCommons: Image:Al PeacockDay 02.jpg[edit]

Image:Al PeacockDay 02.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:Image:Phelsuma quadriocellata.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[Image:Phelsuma quadriocellata.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:04, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Dracovolan 02.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Dracovolan 02.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 06:09, 27 April 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Radiant chains (talk) 06:09, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
