Cradle Bootlegs

[edit]

Hiya Filthy! Thanks for adding all those bootlegs to the Cradle of Filth page - it's shaping up as quite an impressive discography. Just wanted to check your source for them though - do you have copies or are you just aware that they exist somewhere? Where did they come from? Doing a very cursory internet check I can't actually find many of them listed anywhere. Of course, if you fancy an ongoing project, feel free to make pages for each album, adding the tracklists and covers as you go! That'd be ace! But otherwise if you could just left me or Death2 know where you found them, that'd be just as good. Cheers! Cardinal Wurzel 21:15, 6 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not trying to be a snippy, but just a tip, it may be better to use the preview function when editing pages rather than making 10+ edits in 30 minutes. Awesome work on the Cradle article btw :) --Veesicle 22:29, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Damnation And A Day Tour '03

[edit]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Damnation And A Day Tour '03, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at Talk:Damnation And A Day Tour '03. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ~ BigrTex 20:25, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Live @ Manchester Pub 1992

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Live @ Manchester Pub 1992, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. RyanPostlethwaiteSee the mess I've created or let's have banter 01:04, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Vamperot.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Vamperot.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Speedy deletion of The Invaluable Darkness

[edit]

A tag has been placed on The Invaluable Darkness requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Vianello (talk) 02:26, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:DimmuBorgir TID DVD 300.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 09:09, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
