--Kasper2006 (talk) 07:58, 29 September 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Italian records in masters athletics, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Santhia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Masters additions
[edit]I want to thank you for your efforts to keep the records up to date as the WMA Championships in Malaga go forward. I plan to download and process the final results into an article. I'll be processing that in my sandbox in a few days. I'll send you the link. You are welcome to help.
I'm just now thinking of a deep issue in wikipedia you might be able to help on. My efforts to establish notability for Masters athletes backfired when a bunch of ill meaning editors wiped out a bunch of content based on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ihar Dolbik. While you are in Malaga, as I assume you are, you might be able to contact someone in the leadership of the Belarus delegation. If we can find some local sources talking about Ihar beyond his results in agate, we might then be able to re-establish his article with strong sources and reverse the deletion of the other articles that followed the bad decision.
I'm going to google translate this into Italian because I don't know how well you speak English.
- I am building the results at User:Trackinfo/sandbox/WMA starting with Women. This is going to be slow because the results are broken up. There is no master result list out yet, so we have to do each result one by one without bulk processing. Also, the exact ages are not provided so we have to remove that column. When we hit a world record, remember to build out the progression even with pending equal or superior marks. In a few more events I think I'll take what we have over to mainspace, but right now since I am formatting first , then building, its not appropriate to show the format information, so we should transfer from sandbox to mainspace when each event is completed.
- Thanks for adding the birthdates. I don't know where you get them, but have at it. I left the age column in the format, but instead of removing the column, I removed exact ages since I don't know them for most athletes. Now there is a place to go ahead and add birthdates for all of them. I created 2018 World Masters Athletics Championships Women and moved the finished results there. I'm still building additional events in my sandbox.
Ho creato 2018 World Masters Athletics Championships Women e spostato i risultati finiti lì. Sto ancora costruendo altri eventi nella mia sandbox. Trackinfo (talk) 08:38, 23 September 2018 (UTC)
