Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Andrzejbanas (talk) 17:40, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about The Days (Avicii song)

[edit]

Hello, FilBenLeafBoy,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether The Days (Avicii song) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Days (Avicii song) .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, Wgolf (talk) 18:28, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

[edit]

Anytime my friend. This will be one of the easiest ones to revert and save from deletion frankly. Also thanks to your efforts in establishing and defending the page against deletion. On this occasion, I dedicate to you songs by a French singer of Italian origin called Nyco Lilliu. I just love this singer although nobody established a French language page for him even after I established English page. He sings in French but also in Italian... For example: "Tu Ed Io Più Lei", "Dimmi perché" and so on. His brother is also a famous singer called Pierrick Lilliu. Here are the two in "Comme un frère" meaning like a brother.... His latest is a cover of Laura Pausini called "La Solitudine"] The two brothers are pretty well-known in France but not in Italy. It would be a great favour if you could establish a small Italian page for Italian-French Nyco Lilliu based on what I have in English for him. I know it will be difficult to defend even in Italian pages but it is worth it. He has a very important main role as Frère Tuck in Robin des bois the French version of Robin Hood in 2013. Here is his main song "Le Monde a Changer" sung here with M Pokora and Caroline Costa. Only if you have the time that is from my English article Nyco Lilliu. werldwayd (talk) 20:52, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks. Much appreciated. Now The Day is saved and it is shortened to The Day (song)... For Nyco Lilliu, here is another Italian song of his "La mia canzone" werldwayd (talk) 19:26, 30 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 06:08, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Martin Eden (2019) - International film poster.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Get consensus before changing any Ed Sheeran articles

[edit]

Hello. I've just reverted your recent round of edits to No.6 Collaborations Project, = (album) and - (album). I am well aware that there are sources that call Equals his fourth and Subtract his fifth albums and skip over labelling No.6. However, there has been no consensus or beginning of a discussion on any Sheeran-related talk page (as there should be) to change the status of No.6. The last time there was a discussion was years ago on Talk:No.6 Collaborations Project, when it was decided to keep it as a studio album. So defer to that until there is a decision otherwise. A "collaborative album" is still technically a studio album anyway. There needs to be consensus before this change is made across multiple articles. It is currently irrelevant in the absence of a consensus to cite sources stating otherwise when we're well aware those sources are out there. Any further reverts will be referred to an administrator for page protection or potential disruption, so don't revert until you get consensus per WP:BRD. Thank you. Ss112 03:37, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do anything wrong actually, and I had checked every talk page to verify that the matter had not been discussed previously.
I decided to change it to match what most reliable sources said. Wikipedia is meant to be an encyclopedia, to present available and reliable information in a rational and organized way, not an original source on itself. So if most sources follow a certain approach I don't see why Wikipedia should do otherwise. But this is just my opinion, perhaps.
Anyway, thanks for the message. FilBenLeafBoy (talk) 13:03, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
