AfDs
Hi SSTflyer, thanks for the speedy close on the Konstantin Kravchuk AfD. The same editor has AfD-ed a couple of other tennis articles, namely Oksana Kalashnikova, Jeff Coetzee, Xu Yifan, João Domingues, Karel Nováček and Regina Maršíková with the same "Unreferenced" argument. Would you consider speedy closing these as well? They are all notable articles and have external links which allow notability to be easily verified. I'm a frequent editor of tennis articles and as such probably a bit too involved to do it myself.--Wolbo (talk) 17:02, 26 October 2015 (UTC)

Hi SSTFlyer,
I want to appreciate your support and immense contributions at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Wikicology. I appreciate the confidence you have in me and I'm deeply sorry to disappoint you. It has never occurred to me that my user page could be used against me among other concerns. Although some irrelevant issues where raised but I will take them as constructive criticisms. I won't allow that to discourage me and I will continue my good work here. Hope I can reach out to you for assistance in the future? Speedy deletion nomination of T;tdyk
A tag has been placed on T;tdyk requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. SSTflyer, I thought I should let you know that I'm just now closing this nomination as unsuccessful, due to the article being tagged for copyvios as noted by Nikkimaria in her recent review. Normally, I might wait a few more days before closing, but as she suggests a complete rewrite and the creator hasn't edited in a month, I thought it was best to close it right away. I'm sorry this one didn't work out. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:04, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

Avios-IAG pages merged
I would like to discuss with you the redirect you completed in March which saw the Avios page merged with International Airlines Group. What was the reason you decided to merge the Avios content with IAG? I think it is misleading for users clicking through from the Airmiles page (from the relevant UK section) to Avios, to then land on the IAG entry. Would you consider undoing your changes so that a single Avios page exists instead? I think this would make more sense to people clicking through from Airmiles or indeed if searching for Avios. I'd be interested in your help ensuring that the new entry is neutral and objective. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Toby.gavin (talk • contribs) 11:14, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
- When I merged Avios to IAG, there was only about one sentence of non-promotional content. If you want to create a new article on Avios from the redirect, be bold. sst✈discuss 12:09, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Hi, sorry, but I think that this was wrongly closed. The delete !votes were before the article was effectively rewritten to meet the objections and it has now been fully sourced. Since then all !votes have been 'keep' and there have been no policy-based arguments for deletion. This seems a very clear 'keep'on all bases. Would you reconsider your close, please? Just Chilling (talk) 15:51, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
- Closing this as keep instead of no consensus would not affect the result. sst✈discuss 15:54, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
- It wouldn't affect the survival of the article but closing AFDs correctly is what we should strive for. You gave no analysis or rationale in your close. I think that you should either reclose as 'keep' (best) or please provide a detailed rationale for your decision. Just Chilling (talk) 16:07, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

Hi, thank you for closing this RFD. I have reformatted the 'oldrfd' templates. It is good practice to complete the template in full. Firstly we should specify the reason for the nomination because often a retarget is wanted and sometimes just a discussion (in this case deletion was implied).
