User talk:FemaleMMAFan
Most of my edits will involve women's MMA or female mixed martial artists, and will cite references from sites that may not otherwise be readily linked from Wikipedia.
Women's MMA receives far less attention than the men's division, but some sites are starting to cover it more frequently.

Strikeforce Women's Weight Class
[edit]To avoid confusion regarding the names of the Women's weight classes, the Wikipedia Mixed Martial Arts Project decided to go by the Unified Rules rather than what Strikeforce was calling them (since the have renamed them several times already). This way it can be consistent and comparable to all the other promotions as well as easy for Wikipedia users to understand. This has been the precedent and the reason why I was revert them back.(Justinsane15 (talk) 08:56, 28 February 2010 (UTC))
That is a reasonable suggestion, I'm going to pass it on to the Wiki Project. I don't mind if we use official Strikeforce names, as long as we make the clarification. (Justinsane15 (talk) 00:05, 1 March 2010 (UTC))
Tonya Evinger
[edit]Hello there.Just like you I'm a follower and fan of women's mma.I created an article for Tonya Evinger but am having trouble finding details about her background and who she trains with.I just wondering if you would like to help the article. Thanks for all your work.(MgTurtle (talk) 18:26, 11 July 2010 (UTC)).
Paralympiakos
[edit]Hi, I just happened across this [1] discussion and would like to remimd you, no editor (especially this one) has "Power" or "seniority". I've seen many disagreements with this editor and is all too quick to become defensive and rude. I seriously doubt this editor will become an Admin any time soon. Mlpearc powwow 18:22, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- I would agree and we'll see how things progress. I appreciate you taking the time to post this message here and I will alert you if there is any further need for third-party involvement. It appears that TreyGeek's assistance has calmed the situation down somewhat, but you are correct that Paralympiakos seems to get quite defensive when presented with a challenging argument. FemaleMMAFan (talk) 18:47, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
- Just removing the rest of this because it doesn't actually have anything to do with me or this page. I hope that the two of you can work out your differences. I see that it's been taken to ANI. FemaleMMAFan (talk) 22:38, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
Hello!
[edit]I just want to thank you for your helpful edits concerning women's MMA. Here's to hoping that the Ultimate Fighting Championship eventually has a women's division as well and that we also see women fighters in the video games. Best, --24.154.173.243 (talk) 22:27, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
- No problem, thank you. Pages often don't get updated for women's fights and fighters, so I do my best to add some information when I find it on a few websites that cover them. FemaleMMAFan (talk) 00:27, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
- You are welcome! :) Keep up the good work! --24.154.173.243 (talk) 18:17, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Jewels_15th_Ring_poster.jpg)

- I'm creating the page for which the image will be used as we speak. It will be done shortly. Thanks. FemaleMMAFan (talk) 02:19, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

WP:MMA
[edit]Hello,
i noticed you edited a Mixed Martial Arts page in August, but you haven't listed yourself as a Participant on the Wikiproject for Mixed Martial Arts pages. I've decided to try to drum up interest to get more people involved!
