Don't Worry Darling

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Erik. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Don't Worry Darling seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 13:26, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You are not allowed to remove other editors' comments from article talk pages per WP:TPO. Doing that again will likely get you blocked. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 13:40, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You can still remove my comments from your user talk page. That's still allowed. We can carry on discussion on the film articles' talk pages and the WP:NPOVN noticeboard. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 14:15, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to American Dad!, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please review MOS:LQ. How is correcting punctuation errors to comform to the WoS not constructive? It brings the article inline with the Wikipedia standards. I literally moved periods and commmas inside of quotation marks to ensure proper grammar and adherence to WoS. Felinefixesthings (talk) 14:32, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure how your edit conforms to the MoS? From MOS:LQ, which I linked you to above - "Use the "logical quotation" style in all articles, regardless of the variety of English in which they are written. Include terminal punctuation within the quotation marks only if it was present in the original material, and otherwise place it after the closing quotation mark." DonIago (talk) 15:14, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Here is additional information. Have a good day and please drop the issue with me. Thank you! https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Logical_quotation_on_Wikipedia#:~:text=Wikipedia%20uses%20logical%20quotation%20%E2%80%93%20do,of%20the%20quotation%20or%20not. Thanks for the link, but I'm not sure what point you're trying to make? Additionally you linked to an essay, which doesn't necessarily mean you're wrong, but essays don't carry the strength of policies or guidelines either. DonIago (talk) 16:33, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy.
