Your RfA
Hi Faustus37. Just thought I would drop you a note and say not to take the RfA personally. Obviously it's not going well, but that's not at all unusual - lots of admins, myself included, didn't succeed on our first try at RfA. Just take on board any advice you think is useful, and if you want to give it another go sometime in the future, you'll have a better idea what folks are looking for. I know RfAs are no fun; like I said, I've been there myself. 28bytes (talk) 09:29, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
- Faustus37, may I make a friendly suggestion that you step back from the RFA page, rather than replying to so many of the oppose votes?
- Whether you like the opposes or not, your replies are only increasing the strength and depth of opposition to you. Many participants at RFA take care to be gentle in how they say no, but as far as I can see your RFA may turn out to be very hurtful to you if continue to engage. You may also want to consider whether you feel that it is worth proceeding with the RFA, because at this stage it doesn't look at all likely to succeed.
- You are of course under no obligation to adopt my suggestion. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 12:24, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
- Duly noted, and I do thank you for your concern. However, at this point I'm just messing with them ... ;-) Faustus37 (talk) 12:38, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
- I think it is very unwise to treat your RFA as an opportunity for messing with other editors. It will certainly be held against you if you ever apply for adminship again, and it is likely to be dragged out if you find yourself in any major dispute. Up to you of course, and I'll leave you in peace now :) --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 13:23, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

Your RFA
I am sorry, but I have closed your RFA prematurely. Numerous people have their own personal standards by which they judge RfA candidates, this particular RfA was all but assured of not passing. Additionally, your comments above indicated that you were intentionally being disruptive.
I am sorry about this, and I hope you don't take it personally. You may wish to consider applying for an evaluation by other Wikipedia editors for feedback on how to obtain the necessary experience. Once you are ready to request adminship again, there is a guide to requests for adminship.
If you have any other questions about becoming an administrator, please don't hesitate to ask me. Good luck! Reaper Eternal (talk) 13:35, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
