Speedy deletion nomination of Arvin, Farshad
[edit]A tag has been placed on Arvin, Farshad requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. hydrox (talk) 13:54, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
Cut and Paste?
[edit]I was helping to fill out your new article Swarm Robotic Platforms with references and links and noticed that in the editing window it appears that you may have cut and pasted content from a copyrighted source. I'm not tagging it for deletion but you better get back to it, like right now to do some serious paraphrasing or it might disappear. Copyrights are a big deal on Wikipedia and I would hate to see a good article get deleted because you neglected to paraphrase your content. Best Regards,
Conflict of interest policy
[edit]Hello, Farshadarvin. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 16:31, 4 December 2016 (UTC)

December 2016
[edit]Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 16:33, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
I did not receive your email
[edit]I've no idea what went wrong or why. I received a notice that you sent me some, but did not get the actual email.
Could you just explain here?
We could certainly use the help of an expert such as yourself, but you need to get up to speed on Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines, as well as related policies, especially WP:NPOV and WP:NOT. --Ronz (talk) 22:00, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
Can you please respond so at least we know you are aware of the situation? --Ronz (talk) 16:23, 8 December 2016 (UTC)
