Welcome

[edit]

Hello Fan.man.fan and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to Sanjay Shah (businessman), do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! JesseRafe (talk) 14:52, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Albert Decaris, you may be blocked from editing. JesseRafe (talk) 14:54, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure if your conclusion is unbiased. I have no reason to 'promote' Albert Decaris unless dead people have a way of starting personal branding. Please refrain from nonconstructive criticism. Fan.man.fan (talk) 15:55, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at CIBIL. JesseRafe (talk) 14:54, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I can see that you failed to do your research. Instead you jumped to conclusions. CIBIL's issues are well documented and I quoted from Jargo Investor, one of the leading financial blogs in India, where CIBIL is the only credit rating agency. Please do your research and refrain from threats. It is evident that you failed to educate yourself but decided that I know 'less' because I am a new user. Fan.man.fan (talk) 15:55, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I referred to you as a "new" user meaning I sincerely doubt this is your first day using Wikipedia. If you are new, please peruse the links that have been helpfully provided to you on this very page about avoiding promotional material and conflicts of interest. You have already received a final warning. JesseRafe (talk) 16:13, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 36 hours for persistently editing to promote particular views, both by adding non-neutral content to articles and by removing content inimical to the view you wish to promote. Wikipedia is not the right place to post your personal commentary on anything, and all content must be written from a neutral point of view, containing neither praise nor condemnation. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 17:07, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock|reason=Please check the edits I made to the page of CIBIL. The writing may not be perfect but I did not promote anyone's viewpoint. CIBIL article looks promotional and controversies related to it is removed by JesseRaffe without a solid explanation. Fan.man.fan (talk) 17:23, 14 November 2016 (UTC)}}[reply]
