Radar Chronicle on Albanian wikipedia
[edit]Hi - would you mind taking a deeper glance at the sq:Radar_Chronicle article? I was hoping to post something on WikiProject Albania on this, got sidetracked and then got the ping about your revert there. I knew I was a wee bit bold, so sorry if I caused issues. That article is from a group of UPE spammers (see the history on Wikidata of wiki's looking at where it's been added and removed [1]). They even tried to hijack an article here [2].
I'm hoping to see about getting the article on the Albanian wikipedia deleted. I clearly don't know anything about the policies there (hence the thought about the wikiproject), but since you tagged the article, perhaps I could ask you for a bit more time? Reasons for why to delete are two-fold. First, the creator Xzingemer is globally locked [3], and they've been creating spammy articles for bad news sites for a while (see The Blaze Times). The article itself is, based on the google translation, really promotional in tone. The sources are really bad. Crunchbase is a database of basic business information that lists nearly every business, the IMDB link actually points to nowhere, the Austin Chronicle link doesn't mention anything about the article subject (but has the word Radar!) and the same thing with The Bridge Chronicle source.
If it's better to post this on the wikiproject, let me know and I'll do that. Thank you! Ravensfire (talk) 18:52, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for letting me know regarding this bad actor, I'm sorry for reverting the edit instead of adding a speedydelete. I'm just a wiki reviewer there and have no deletion rights, however Klein Muçi is the head admin and can delete the article for you, given the history. @Klein? - No apologies needed - some random person with no other edits deleting a lot of an article? I'd have done the same. Thank you! Ravensfire (talk) 19:32, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
