Contested deletion
[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because this page is about a former ABA president detailing his career and life. Many other former ABA presidents have similar wikipedia pages, so that when people visit the wikipedia page listing former presidents, they can learn more about them. --Billide (talk) 19:40, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
- Individuals are included only if they meet the notability criteria. The presence of other, similar articles has no influence over the suitability of a subject for inclusion.
- Your account name may be a problem if this person is currently alive and notable enough for inclusion. Per Wikipedia's username policy, you should not name your account after a notable, identifiable or well-known person unless you can provide proof that you are that person. If you are not this person, it is highly recommended that you change your username to something else.
- If you are you the person that you are writing about, then please know that this account may be blocked as a precaution against impersonation until proof of identity is provided. You should also review Wikipedia's guideline on autobiographies, as well as the cautionary essays WP:NOTYOU and WP:PROUD. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 22:15, 10 December 2024 (UTC)

If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 19:45, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
