The article Tomek Albin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Just passes A7, but does not appear to meet notability guidelines.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Jacek Poremba requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 19:12, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion tag removal

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Jacek Poremba, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 19:37, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags until the requests are reviewed by an administrator. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 20:03, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Jacek Kołodziejski, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Jacek Kołodziejski and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 19:40, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Article creation

[edit]

Apologies for the number of speedy deletion notifications I've posted on your talk page, but I wanted to ensure that you were aware of each of the articles for which I have requested deletion. The articles you created appear completely promotional in nature and as such are contradictory to our policies and guidelines. Do you have an affiliation with the artists for which you created the articles? If so, please take the time to read Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines. Prior to creating any additional articles it would be helpful if you read the information provided in the welcome message at the top of this page - WP:V and WP:N are particularly relevant in this case. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 19:59, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with this edit to Tomek Albin. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Please stop removing Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages as you did with this edit to Paweł Fabjański. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. DVdm (talk) 20:03, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

The article Grzegorz Piątek has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This mess of an article, resembling a self-promotional resume, seems to fail WP:BIO notability criteria. No coverage in mainstream, reliable sources shown.
