Please note that articles on Wikipedia are not allowed to be left sitting around uncategorized. Every article on Wikipedia is required to have one of two things on it, either proper functioning categories or the {{uncategorized}} tag. The tag is not something that you're free to remove on a whim just because you don't want it on "your" article; if there aren't any categories on the article then the tag must be there. I've had to retag it as uncategorized five times in the space of a single afternoon, and that's just not acceptable. If I ever see the article back on the list of untagged uncategorized articles again, in fact, I can and will consider locking it so that you can't edit it at all — so you need to leave the tag there until it gets dealt with by somebody in the uncategorized articles project. File permission problem with File:PadmaShri Sayyid Ahmedullah Qadri.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:PadmaShri Sayyid Ahmedullah Qadri.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. We noticed though that when you edited Sayyid Ahmedullah Qadri, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hyderabad (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Replaceable fair use File:Andhra Nama.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Andhra Nama.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 06:34, 5 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Citing sources

[edit]

The way to cite a source on Wikipedia is to add a footnote or citation, not to insert a photograph of the source material. There's information on how to get started creating citations at Help:Referencing for beginners. -- Diannaa (talk) 19:04, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Islam in India

[edit]

I'm sorry, I assume you put a lot of work into setting up those tables and formatting them...but 4 of the 5 I first checked had no verification on their pages that they are Muslim. To be honest, I don't think those tables really belong their any way--the page is about Islam as a religion in India, and I don't think we need a table listing some people (who may or may not be Muslim) who all won an award. That information belongs in other places in Wikipedia. But even if there were consensus to include those tables, you could not list anyone who did not have verification on their article that they are Muslim, and, if the person is still living, WP:BLPCAT requires that the person actually have personally stated that they are Muslim. Qwyrxian (talk) 12:02, 16 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) 14:43, 17 September 2013 (UTC) Those are all Indian Muslims who have contributed for the Indian nation and majority of the names are linked to Wikipedia articles only . Its really unfair that you have deleted all the tables without even informing . And if that information belongs in some other place in wikipedia then you should have first inform before deleting those tables . Man you wasted all my work . Those are all prominent Indian Muslims who have got First , second , third and fourth degree national awards for their contribution to the Indian nation which has been awarded by Indian Government .[reply]

As I explained, yes, they were linked to articles...but the articles didn't have any verification that the people were Muslim. We must have references, and, if the person is still alive, we must have a reference in which the person personally says, "I am a Muslim". This is a strict rule, one on which there isn't any way to compromise or even "wait" for a citation later. As for the tables themselves, well, we can discuss that on the article talk page, and maybe others think they're worth including, but not without sources. Qwyrxian (talk) 11:09, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) 14:52, 18 September 2013 (UTC) within those wikipedia articles , its there those are Indian Muslims and if you would have asked before deleting those tables , i can provide you many sources and references but you have simply deleted and wasted my whole work . its really unfair from your part . i would request you to put back those tables .[reply]

No, it's not there. I checked. On the first 5 I checked, there was no reference verifying that the person was/is Muslim. Again, I don't know what you're not understanding: this is not an optional issue; categorizing people by religion (which includes putting them in lists of people of that religion) must only be done when accompanied by sources. Period. There is no exception to this. Any instances where this is the case must be removed immediately from the encyclopedia. Period. There is nothing unfair here at all. If you have said sources, please produce them. Just to help you get started: Obaid Siddiqi, Ebrahim Alkazi, Zohra Sehgal (note that she actually explicitly states that she is agnostic), and Azim Premji have no references verifying they are Muslim, and Sehgal has one verifying she is not Muslim. Do you understand the problem here? Do you see what you have to do? So, start with those 4. Do you have sources? If so, please provide them here, and I'll let you know whether or not they meet our requirements. Qwyrxian (talk) 22:51, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) 06:16, 19 September 2013 (UTC) , how it has become categorizing people on the basis of their religion ? all those Indian Muslims who have received first, second , third and fourth degree of National awards from Government . Do you mean to say that these are not prominent Indian Muslims who have contributed to Indian Nation ? I have put the tables just below the section of Prominent Muslims of India which was nothing but just to expand the list of Prominent Indian Muslims who have recognized by Government of India.[reply]

So just for some names , how can you delete the whole section . Do you think that there are no Prominent Indian Muslims ? Indian Muslims are Indians who are having their own separate identity similar like Indian Christians , Indian Sikhs , Indian Parsis and Indian Hindus but all are Indians . If Obaid Siddique, Ebrahim AlKazi and Zohra Sehgal according to you are not Muslims then can i ask you why Zohra Sehgal article its mentioned that she was born in Traditional Muslim family in India ? If Azim Premji is having no reference verifying that he is Muslims then Why his name is listed in Prominent Muslims in India Section ? Just put back those tables as those are in the correct section.

Zohra Sehgal She was born Sahibzadi Zohra Begum Mumtaz-ullah Khan on 27 April, 1912 into a traditional Muslim family in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, to Mumtazullah Khan and Natiqua Begum, belonging to Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Zohra_Sehgal

Azim Premji Azim Hashim Premji was born into a GujaratiKhoja Nizari Ismaili Shia family. He was born in Bombay to M.H. Hasham Premji on 24 July 1945. https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Azim_Premji

Ebrahim AlKazi Ebrahim Alkazi, A R Rahman, Amir among 15 Muslims to get Padma Awards http://twocircles.net/node/184212

Let me Contribute instead of wasting the time in explaining you .

Being born into a Muslim family does not make someone Muslim--people change their religion all the time. This is the last time I will state this: for living people, you must have a source in which the person states, explicitly, "I am religion X" in order to put that category on their page or to put them in a list of people of that religion. If they are listed incorrectly in other sections, they should be removed there too. These is absolutely undebatable, based on longstanding Wikipedia policies on biographies of living people. Qwyrxian (talk) 08:44, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) 15:31, 19 September 2013 (UTC) when Government of India give them awards , its clearly stated about their religion because India is a multi religious country were all religions are equally respected , you are simply even rejecting Indian Government links and started something very strange . Seems you are not aware of Indian traditions and landscape and just wasting my time by talking about rules of Wikipedia policies . Wikipedia is a place were all can have their voice and can express themselves but you are restricting things in the name of Wikipedia policies .[reply]

If you add people to lists based on their religion, or if you create new lists based on their religion, or if you add religious categories to people (I'm speaking of living people here), and they have not publicly, explicitly, self-identified that they are in that religion, then I will revert you if I see it, and, if you keep going, I will ask that you be blocked from editing. I'm sorry that you don't like our policies, but, for living people, there must be self identification for categorization.
If you want to discuss the more general matter of including those tables, go to Talk:Islam in India and discuss it there. On the above point, I can state with certainty what you can and cannot do, because we already have a strict policy on it (WP:NLIST, and WP:BLPCAT). On the inclusion of the table, it is a matter that will be decided by consensus; if a consensus of people agrees with the inclusion of those tables, I will accept that. Qwyrxian (talk) 22:05, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) 18:18, 23 September 2013 (UTC) . block for what ? I have make the table in Prominent Muslims of India. Does those who have got first, second, third and fourth degree of National awards for their contribution in Science, Medicine, Literature, arts, public services to the Indian nation as well as to the world are not Prominent Muslims of India according to you ?[reply]

Have a look in here , Most of them are living people . Why here no rules and strict policy here ?

List of Indian Christians https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/List_of_Indian_Christians

Because there are more than 4 million articles on Wikipedia, and most of them are in a poor state, and no editor can handle it all, nor is any editor compelled to do edit any particular article. I've started editing List of Indian Christians, but I don't have time to do more than the first section right now; I'll try to do further editing later, and, of course, you're welcome to do so as well.
I would be happy for you to add information somewhere in Wikipedia about prominent Muslims. The article you chose is the wrong one, because that article is supposed to be about the religion, not its members, so only a prose section describing some of the most prominent is important. However, if you want to start something like List of Indian Muslims, feel free, just make sure it conforms to the rules I've explained. Qwyrxian (talk) 23:35, 23 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) 10:44, 24 September 2013 (UTC) Wikipedia is indeed a great place to know and learn and i can imagine , how hard it would be for the editors to handle all the articles . The reason i have showed you Indian Christian article just because you talked about policy of Wikipedia.[reply]

Any Indian who gets first, second , third and Fourth degree national awards are Prominent who have contributed in their respective fields .. OK i will try to open list of Indian Muslims article and even do my best to add references but just please don't be in hurry to delete anyone hard work without informing them and give them chance to save it . This is a request .

I think you may have misunderstood me. You cannot add anyone to that list who does not meet the criteria I have already stated. These are not my criteria--these are very critical, necessary rules regarding verification, and they are especially critical to protect living people. I cannot stress enough that you may never add a living person to such a list unless they self-identify as that religion in a reliable source. And for non-living people, you still need a source, they just don't have to self-identify. This is different than other cases where it may be okay to add information and let it stay for awhile awaiting a source; religion is such a divisive topic, and, for living people, one that can actually carry real, physical risk, that we cannot take chances. And, in general, for lists of that type, you usually shouldn't add a person unless they have a Wikipedia article, though a very strong source (that basically implies the person should have an article) would be okay. Finally, don't worry about tables--the vast majority of articles of this type use simple bulleted lists; that will save you time. Qwyrxian (talk) 11:58, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited A.C. Guards, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nampally (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

List of Indian Muslim political office holders

[edit]

Could you please go through List of Indian Muslim political office holders and remove all of the honorifics (Mr. Honorable Justice, etc.)? I already removed a bunch, but it's tedious; they're not allowed per WP:Honorifics. Also, I haven't started to check yet, but I assume that for every one of those people who are still alive, there is a reference in which the person explicitly said, "I am Muslim", right? And for the ones who are already dead, you have a reference which states, "He/She was Muslim", right? Qwyrxian (talk) 22:36, 2 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ugh. I've already found several that don't have sources in the target articles, not to mention all of the ones without articles for which you haven't provided sources.
Please explain to me why I shouldn't request that you be blocked. I already explained this policy to you numerous times. This is a serious matter, not something you can just ignore because you don't like the policy or don't agree with it. Qwyrxian (talk) 22:38, 2 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) 08:00, 3 October 2013 (UTC) When i will finish editing all the names , one after another i will try to put sources regarding their religion, but for this i need more time... So try not to be in hurry in deleting articles like earlier, its a request .[reply]

Can i know you are from which country , If you dont mind .

For goodness sake, I already explained this: you cannot do this in this order. You must have the sources at the second you add the names. No name may remain in such an article for even 1 minute. Take out every unsourced name right now or I will do so and also strongly consider requesting you be blocked at the same time. Religion in BLPs is not something we can play around with. Unsourced statements can be okay in Wikipedia; statements about religion for living people (and, to an almost equal extent, dead people) cannot.
I'm from the United States. Qwyrxian (talk) 09:27, 3 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) 09:41, 3 October 2013 (UTC) I am first adding sources and references that these people do exist and are part of Indian establishment and within some sources , the religion of these people is mentioned . All sources and references i am adding are from Central government, state government, Supreme court of India and High courts of India which are directly run by Indian Government and governing System .[reply]

There is an article about Indian Christians in which nowhere there are sources and like that there are hundreds of articles like this but still i am trying to add sources unlike others .

On Indian Christians you're wrong--User:Sitush has recently done a lot of work trimming down people without the required citations. Note that it's okay if the citation is on the person's WP article (if they have one). But if you see some that aren't sourced, take them out. Please.
This is the last time I'm going to say this; I've tried and tried to explain this to you, but you either don't understand or refuse to listen: if you cannot provide a source verifying the person's self-identified status in the religion, you must remove it. Immediately. If you are unwilling or unable to follow this rule, I will have to ask that you be blocked; I simply don't know any other way to explain this. Qwyrxian (talk) 13:25, 3 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) 07:22, 4 October 2013 (UTC) , i am adding sources but still you are threatening to block me . The way Sitush is doing on Indian Christian article , the same way i am trying to do on Indian Muslims but for this i need some more time as i am doing these updates in my free time.[reply]

And, what did you do? You went and added more unsourced living people. I honestly don't understand what's wrong here. This is not complicated. This is also not negotiable. I have redirected the article because it is full of blatant BLP violations. If you rebuild it, you must not add even 1 name that does not meet the very simple rules I've explained to you a dozen times. Qwyrxian (talk) 09:05, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you asked for clarification. Here's some additional infomration.
  • Side note: You posted your question on my user page User:Dovid. It should have gone to the bottom of my talk page User talk:Dovid. User pages should generally only be edited by the user who "owns" them.
  • The reason I declined your submission is because it is 'impossible' to approve it. You are requesting to create a new article with the name Sayyid Ahmedullah Qadri. But that article already exists. You can only make updates to the existing artyicle, or create a completely different article. In this case, creating a completely different article doesn't make sense, because it really is an update to the existing article. You need to make edits to the "live" published article.
  • For your convenience, click here to see the difference between your article and the current published article -- as of the version of the article published at the time I wrote this.

Suggestions for help acclimating to this site, and understanding ho wto get your content accepted

[edit]

Hi, Faisal,

After working on the the approval of your article, I noticed that you have had a number of other problems getting your work accepted on Wikipedia. I have a few suggestions for you:

  1. en.wikipedia.com is primarily aimed at English-speaking countries -- USA, Canada, England, Australia, and a few others. They all share a language and cultural similarities. You might want to try editing on a local Wikipedia before you work on this one. It may be easier to learn how to be productive there first.
  2. On this Wikipedia, you might want to try to get a mentor. There is a page, Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user/Adoptee's Area, that can help you do that. Ideally, it would be someone experienced on this Wikipedia site, but who also shares some common background with you in language and culture, and can speed up the learning process for you, and help you see the subtle differences between your expectations and those of other editors here.
  3. Read many articles here, especially on subjects that you are interested in writing about. Use article history to see how the article has improved over time. Look over article talk pages to see how discussions have resulted in decision on how to mend or improve the article, including discussion on building a consensus of what is good and what is not.
  4. Use the Teahouse and Noticeboards if you have more specific questions.

Hope that helps. Good luck!

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Syed Asif Ibrahim, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.defence.pk/forums/indian-defence/220988-asif-ibrahim-tipped-new-ib-chief.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Syed Asif Ibrahim requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.defence.pk/forums/indian-defence/220988-asif-ibrahim-tipped-new-ib-chief.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 16:01, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I was concerned about the number of messages you have received about copyright infringements, so I had a look at your editing history, to see whether the problem is still continuing, or whether it has stopped. Not only did I find it is still continuing, but I found a talk page message, posted within the last 24 hours, which seems to indicate that you have no idea what "copyright" means, despite all the messages you have been given, explaining that you cannot use content copied from other sources without appropriate proof of permission. At Talk:Syed Asif Ibrahim you said that the article should not be speedily deleted as a copyright infringement, and by way of reason you listed newspaper articles from which you had copied, and said that they were "from Indian National Media and from most reputed Indian websites and Newspapers". I am not at all sure what you think "copyright" means, but it is not a question of copying only from well reputed sources, it is a question of not copying from other sources at all, unless you can show that the owners of the copyright have given permission for you to do so. Moreover, Wikipedia licenses its content for free reuse by anyone in the world, unchanged or changed, for commercial or non-commercial purposes, and so you may not post any content here at all unless the owners of the copyright have agreed to such free reuse of their property. I have never known of any newspaper which has been willing to license its content for reuse under such broad licensing terms, so it is very unlikely that you will ever be able to copy anything from any newspaper to Wikipedia without breaking copyright law. I have also found other talk page posts in your history which indicate a similar failure to understand the point of copyright.

Apart from copyright, there are also several other problems with your editing, and messages to you have failed to clear them up. For example, despite efforts by Qwyrxian in the section above headed "List of Indian Muslim political office holders", you have yet again repeated exactly the same kind of thing that he told you about, in flagrant violation of Wikipedia's policy on biographies of living persons. What is more, very large numbers of people you have added to that article are not political office holders at all, nor even, as far as I can determine, participants in politics in any form. In fact, I have found very many examples in your editing history of problems which in one way or another appear to suggest that you do not understand what you are doing, do not understand what other editors have tried to tell you, or both. This leads to doubts as to whether you will ever be able to edit Wikipedia properly.

In view of these continuing problems, I have blocked you from editing. You may request that this block be lifted, but before you consider doing so I strongly urge you to read Wikipedia's policies on copyright and biographies of living persons, and the guide to appealing blocks. You may also find it helpful to look at some of the other pages linked to in the messages above. If and when you think that you are ready to persuade an administrator that you now understand the issues involved, and will not make similar mistakes again, you may request an unblock by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this message, replacing the words "Your reason here " with your reason for believing that an unblock would be suitable. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:15, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) 15:52, 7 November 2013 (UTC) Hello Mr James B Watson , Hope you are doing good ? You have not only blocked my whole work but even deleted everything . I have started the article by the name List of Notable Indian Muslims which was similar to the article List of Notable Indian Christians but somebody has changed the title. I have followed the copy rights issues and was adding sources and references to almost all the entries but its strange to see that in the name of copy right violations even the real things are not been added . Syed Asif Ibrahim is the chief of Indian intelligence agencies and no one can deny this in the name of copy rights.[reply]

Again, you are not understanding what copyright means. There are two completely separate, unrelated issues here:
    1. Copyright violations. Under almost no circumstance 'ever can you copy and paste text from other sources. You certainly cannot ever copy and paste from newspapers. There is no exception to this. Doing so is not only a violation of our policies, it's very often a violation of the law.
    2. BLP violations. As I've told you before, you can't add people to religious lists or categories without adding sources in first. You can't add them in and then say you will add sources later. You must add the sources at the same time. For dead people, you just need a reliable source stating the person's religion and notability. For living people, you need a reliable source verifying why the person is notable, and then you also need a source where the person directly says, "I am religion X". I've told you this often enough, but you never seemed to listen. I simply forgot that you had all of those people listed without sources; I should have deleted it long ago. The reason JamesBWatson deleted the page was that there were so many BLP violations, it was easier to delete it and have someone else restart it in accordance with policy.
My opinion is that you cannot be unblocked until you can explain directly and clearly what was wrong with what you did, and you give assurances that it will never happen again. Qwyrxian (talk) 22:35, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) 09:25, 8 November 2013 (UTC) Hello Mr. Qwyrxian , how are you doing good and even your health is fine .[reply]

Wikipedia needs sources and referances and here i have added sources and referances from Indian Government websites which includes portals of Parliament, Police, Military and at last Indian News agency namely PTI and IANS etc and even in some used International websites. So what is with the whole system of sources and referances in Wikipedia?

Regarding BPL violations in majority of names i have added source and referance which was about offering Eid Prayers in Masjid . If this is not the prove of those people being Muslim then i wont know whatmore proves people like you and Mr Watson wants and then even many leaders , actors have openly said that they are Indian Muslims but all those was clearly sidelined . Recently One Indian Muslim soldier was martyred in Kashmir, he was given full state honors and was buried in religious way . was that not prove enough ?

I think the problem is this here that the Administors of Wikipedia are not aware of the system, culture, traditions of other countries and nor they want to understand .

I want to ask why on first place the title was changed from List of Notable Indian Muslims.

If the whole article about the list of notable Indian Muslims has been deleted even when there were sources which shows that these people were Followers of Islam then even List of notable christian article should be deleted and even the lists which is made on different sects of Hindus . My whole intention is quite clear that Indian Muslims are not sidelined in India and they do have representation and are not being persecuted.

Do you not know that administrators can look at deleted articles? I'm looking at that List article you created right now and at least half of the entries are unsourced. As I have said, that is absolutely forbidden. To paraphrase what you said, I think the problem is that you are not aware of the system, culture, and traditions of Wikipedia. And, ultimately, that's what's important if you want edit here. I have nothing more to say; you've been told the policies, you've been given chances to improve, and you simply don't. I don't know if you don't understand or just don't want to follow the rules, but until you are willing and able to do so, you can't edit. Qwyrxian (talk) 03:06, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(talk) 12:40, 9 November 2013 (UTC) When i have provided sources to more than half of the entries which proves these people are followers of Islam from India but instead of deleting the unsourced entries the whole thread has been deleted . Why is this that for List of Notable Indian Christian article is getting different treatment ? I request to restore the entries which are sourced with its original title List of Notable Indian Muslims because i am doing my work within the policy of Wikipedia and for small mistakes people are not treated like this . Wikipedia is not a communist junta of North Korea that for mistakes people are being erased forever .[reply]

Request reason:

Hello.. I have started List of Notable Indian Muslim entries after seeing the List of Notable Indian Christians and in that i have hard so much hard and have provided sources and even references which first proves existence of these people and then about their religion. I request to unblock me and even restore those entries. When i can provide sources and references to more than half of the entries then why cant i give sources and references to all the entries and if cant find the source and references then i will simply remove those entries by myself if i not find any reference

Decline reason:

I guess I'm just missing the valid response to the reasons for your block. I see no assurances that you even begin to understand the copyright problems, and I can't make sense of what you're proposing in the text of the unblock message. All entries must be sourced in a list like that. This was patiently explained to you. I would suggest a more comprehensive response. Please don't negotiate on the restoration of your article; you first need to indicate that you understand our core policies and will not break them in the future. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Proposed deletion of Mohammed Vizarat Rasool Khan

[edit]

The article Mohammed Vizarat Rasool Khan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Biography that has been essentially unsourced since its creation; no independent reliable sources found; fails WP:BIO

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
