Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Faggort", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it may be offensive. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. You seem to be editing constructively, however, so good luck and happy editing! This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Faggort, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Alexf(talk) 15:15, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The username requested is no longer comprehensible as the word that my username is apparently being misinterpreted as. I see no reason why this should not be accepted. Faggort (talk) 08:43, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

I agree with you. I am unblcoking to allow a username change to requested username. Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 09:20, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. A bureaucrat or clerk has responded to your username change request, but requires clarification before moving forward. Please follow up at your username change request entry as soon as possible. Thank you. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 11:53, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there.

Regarding your question at WP:Changing Username, I believe you'll just need to change the 'Requested Name' rather than creating a whole new username change request. You've come this far to get it sorted and given that (as was said above) you are editing with good intentions (constructively) I hope this goes through quickly so that you can happily focus on making good, helpful edits.

Y'all take care now. MM ("Well? What have you got to report?") ("My new invention!") 00:14, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
