Not a forum

[edit]

Please restrict your talk page edits to those that are aimed at improving the article. In this specific case, that means not discussing feelings and synthesis of ideas, but discussing what reliable sources directly say about the subject (not your interpretation of said sources). Note you added your comment right above my discussion closer, so it's clear you read my message on the subject. tedder (talk) 00:59, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I originally suggested that the article not be placed in the Chritianity portal or that the article not refer to Mormonism as Chritianity. Given that mormonism is not Christianity and there are already many sources citing its non acceptance by any major Christian church, I think it's fair to say that is an established fact. The user BEFORE me launches into an irelevent stream of nonsense and I responded by steering the discussion back. The editor (presumably you) of the section, however, refuses to even acknowledge the article's defects, presumably in either a misguided sense of PC protectionism or because he is a member of the mormon cult. Either way, please see the article on Gibralter for a leson on how an article can be properly reviewed too far in the opposite direction. That situation is at least far preferable to the articleson Mormonism, which are simply undocumented cult advertisements.
