Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Murder of Meredith Kercher has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/pages/Amanda-Knox/115313948480628?v=desc.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Murder of Meredith Kercher

[edit]

Wikipedia doesn't allow links to sites like Facebook that require a login. But regardless of that, Facebook members are welcome to edit any article on Wikipedia, including the article Murder of Meredith Kercher. When doing so, they are expected to conform to the Wikipedia rules. Changes to the article should be written in a neutral tone and must be backed up with a reference to a reliable source. as defined by WP:rs. This presents some difficulties for Knox supporters, as the newspaper accounts of the trial had limited coverage of the defense arguments. For example, I know that the defense presented a convincing argument based on cell phone records and the car park video camera that the Postal Police arrived after Raffaele called 112, but have yet to find a reliable source for that claim. Blogs like Perugia Shock don't count as a reliable source on Wikipedia.

I don't have a Facebook account, but certainly welcome input from members of your group. If there are statements in the article that are not correct, suggest a change on the article talk page. But do your homework first and find a reliable source to back up your proposed change. --Footwarrior (talk) 13:00, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
