Your edit on Michael Peroutka
Hey, FULBERT. The tool you are using just misfired: you reverted my edit on Michael Peroutka, which was in turn a correct reversion of a previous edit, which incorrectly modified the text of a direct quotation. Could you self-revert, please? Newimpartial (talk) 20:28, 5 April 2020 (UTC)
- Newimpartial, Thanks for the heads up. Done. FULBERT (talk) 20:35, 5 April 2020 (UTC)

500 Queer Scientists: date tags
Hi, I notice you added a lot of date tags to 500 Queer Scientists using a bot. I used the same (or a similar) bot myself, and ended up undoing the results for those webpages [1]: the dates aren't the date that the pages were published, but the date that the website changed its layout. Unfortunately the actual dates of publication aren't given, so I'm not sure how to handle that one. YorkshireLad ✿ (talk) 23:24, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
- YorkshireLad, Interesting point you are raising, and thanks for starting this discussion. I looked on that website itself and looked at the page source of a few of those pages, and those dates that were changed were the dates when those pages were created, not revised. In this way, it seems most of those individual pages were actually created on the dates listed. This does not appear on the pages themselves, but in the page meta data in the coding. I think these are accurate dates of page creations. --- FULBERT (talk) 13:12, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- FULBERT, Hmm, interesting. So I say that because the site is built from user-generated profiles, and it seemed unlikely they'd all have been published on the same day, especially when the site had > 900 profiles in July 2019. In particular, I can only assume the profile of the Lauren Esposito, the founder of the site, (which the metadata says was published on 5 February this year) existed in 2018. Also, links to the site with access dates before 5 February to some of those people exist elsewhere on Wikipedia (e.g. citation 13 here).
- I can believe it was when the pages were created, because most of the other links to the site throughout Wikipedia are broken—I believe the entire structure of the website was changed on that date. But do we go with the date that the text was first published (seems to be unknown) or the date that the pages were published in their current form (5 February 2020)? YorkshireLad ✿ (talk) 14:02, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- YorkshireLad, Interesting question. I would thinik leaving as-is and then raising that question on the bot's talk page, as I have not encountered this issue before and are not sure if others who may have seen it may have insights or suggestions to offer? --- FULBERT (talk) 21:14, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'll comment there. YorkshireLad ✿ (talk) 09:03, 12 April 2020 (UTC)

No need for the "confusing tag" anymore
Your issue with the page being mislabeled as a list was right, but...I don't think the Animated series with LGBT characters: 2000s needs to developed into a list or into a table. The overview is basically the whole page, linking to other pages. The same is the case on the Animated series with LGBT characters: 1990s and Animated series with LGBT characters: 2010s. But, I wouldn't mind the page being improved, just not turned into a list or tables.--Historyday01 (talk) 04:15, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
- Historyday01, Thanks for the your thoughts on this. I think the content is fine, though not consistent with the title. --- FULBERT (talk) 17:03, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
- Sure. I think its better now as its not a list or table, which is why I moved it to another page. I think its more consistent with the title now than it was before.--Historyday01 (talk) 17:06, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
