Welcome from Redwolf24

[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We as a community are glad to have you and thank you for creating a user account! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Yes some of the links appear a bit boring at first, but they are VERY helpful if you ever take the time to read them.

Remember to place any articles you create into a category so we don't get orphans.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome.

Hello

[edit]

Hello! "Wikipedia:Espaço lusófono na EN.WP" isn't "Wikipedia:Portuguese Wikipedians' notice board". Maybe "Wikipedia:Portuguese-speaking Wikipedians' notice board". But, why don't let "Wikipedia:Espaço lusófono na EN.WP" in Portuguese? It's for the portuguese-speaking users at EN.WP. please, answer here. thx. bye! --FML hi me at pt 08:46, 6 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty certain that all pages here on the English Wikipedia should have titles in English, regardless of what language the page is written in. And I chose Wikipedia:Portuguese Wikipedians' notice board by analogy with the other entries in Category:Regional Wikipedian notice boards. If you really feel the title should be Wikipedia:Portuguese-speaking Wikipedians' notice board, it will have to be listed at WP:RM. dbenbenn | talk 16:17, 6 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Mirrored ariplane image

[edit]

Hello, I wondered where you obtained the following image.

File:Air new zealand 747-400-espelhado.jpg

It is the mirror image of the following one, with the inscription "Air New Zealand" manipulated such that it looks right. Note that the landscape in the background is also mirrored, so that the imagte has clearly been manipulated.

Could you tell is what is the story about this (if you know it)?

Brazil

[edit]

hi, sorry for interruption, could you please see to the NPOV of exclusion of Brazil from this article. It was there until a month ago, and some guys keep excluding South America and Brazil from what I believe is its just place (and I am not alone, since these previous edits were there long before, to include Brazil). thanks Perroot 21:58, 30 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Olá

[edit]

Olá FML.

O meu português é muito básico agora. Sugiro que você procure as categorias Category:User pt e Category:User pt-N para outros falantes portugueses. Obrigado! Grandmasterka 03:38, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

r.e. "Hi"

[edit]

I don't speak/write Portuguese so I'm not going to converse with you over on PT.WP. Sorry. What did you want to talk about, anyway? Arkady Rose 21:38, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries

[edit]

You are welcome to revert edits, with which you disagree, although please use the talk page to explain your reasoning. However, never call another editor's changes 'vandalism' unless they undoubtably are. I mean this [1]. In wikipedia we assume good faith which means that we assume that a change was well intentioned, even if we strongly disagree with it. We also refrain from personal attacks and calling another editor's contributions 'vandalism' is often considered to be a personal attack. Thanks. --Doc 22:54, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor believe that the title should be a redirect to another article. You may disagree with that, but it is not vandalism. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and you need to try to get on with people if you are going to last here. Calling people's good-faith edits vandalism does no conform to the standards we expect of Wikipedians. For vandalism see WP:VAND.--Doc 16:50, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Katilce de Almeida Miranda, by Luís Felipe Braga, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Katilce de Almeida Miranda is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Katilce de Almeida Miranda, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Katilce de Almeida Miranda itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 04:33, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Port 8333 listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Port 8333. Since you had some involvement with the Port 8333 redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. 80.221.159.67 (talk) 12:17, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
