I have now created a new account CBeurope - how to move my contributions to this new account in order I could make the changes and add the external third party sources? --CBeurope (talk) 12:30, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
Blocked indefinitely for sock puppetry
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for sock puppetry per evidence presented at User talk:FEFCO. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not. If you believe that this block was in error, and would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. I don't understand the situation, I did not have the intention to evade the block ? I simply did what I've been asked to do ! I've been asked to create a new account, so I did it! Why asked me to create a new account if it's not possible? What's the problem? Does it means that i cannot add any useful information about a standard used worldwide? What kinf of change should I do now - i ama asking for advise because I do not understand....I created a FEFCO account because I wanted to be transparent on a topic which is recognized by all professionnals from any industry sectors using boxes.
FEFCO is quoted in many article as a reliable source of information (also in Wikipedia pages......) and I can find a dozen of very reliable external links to add to my article How do I solve this issue? I am not advertising anything, the FEFCO code is free of charge and is used internationally by all the packaging designers in all industrial sectors. By adding this page to wikipedia my intention is to correct a fact: ie. this code is mentioned more than 33 000 times in google and its content can be used by anyone including companies which are using it for commercial reason (in contrary of us...). I think it would be useful to have a page which shows the original source of information of this widely used standard! There is no other standard for box designs in the world it's the only one . For the moment people searching for this code are mainly redirected to commercial websites using the work of industry experts who have been working free of charge for our organisation . I think this would be fair.....In addition I see many similar content on Wikipedia which have been approved. I have no intention to post anything which is not neutral and encyclopedic. --FEFCO (talk) 15:42, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
- Read and FOLLOW the explicit instructions given to you in the large salmon-colored box above this discussion, using the specific template provided. Earlier, you could have used the template in the blue box; but by ignoring those instructions, you've created this problem. I do hope you realize that even if a new name is given, you will still be expected to refrain from attempting to promote or publicize FEFCO here in Wikipedia. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:52, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
- Here are a few key questions:
- Do you understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a business directory?
- Do you understand conflict of interest?
- Do you understand that to be considered for an encyclopedia article, the subject must be notable?
