Edit summaries

[edit]

Hi FANBZEB. Thanks for your contributions, but would you mind added an edit summary when you make edits - particularly on Brian Zbydniewski. Since there's been some contentious editing there, it useful to know why you are making changes. It makes it less likely that someone will misunderstand your change and revert it. Thank you!--Otus scops (talk) 23:58, 25 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Brian Z

[edit]

He graduated in 2005, therefore he was undrafted in 2005. Because the af2 was a minor league, it does not make it not part of his career history. The offseason or practice squad note is a general note that applies when you place and asterix after a team, so no reason to remove that note because it does not apply directly to his current stay in Spokane.

Thank you for your contributions to Zbydniewski's page. I can tell from your profile you are also an avid fan of Arena Football. I have spent numerous hours collecting and editing Zbydniewski's page and it looks like we have a few contradictions. Let's work together to make this page as accurate as possible. It is very important for me to reflect accuracy on Wikepedia otherwise it just becomes a national enquirer spilling with false content. I think you have some of the dates wrong. He first joined the AFL in 2010. He did play in the AF2 and I think you might have mistyped your second sentence. Rather than assuming what you were trying to say can you please clarify? The way you reworded some of his season activity has a tinge of partial perspective and I think it is upmost important that this page remains to hold no outlook to present or hold partial perspective. The correct pronunciation of Zbydniewski is Zeb-ah-new-ski. It is listed on his current team's site. He has spoken about this numerous times and I think it's important that Wikepedia is a viable source of legitimacy. Looking forward to hearing from you!

A player who graduates from college is only listed as a possible NFL Draft candidate for that upcoming draft, and since that portion of the infobox applies directly to the NFL Draft, it should read undrafted in 2005. I am not sure why you disapprove of af2 teams being listed on this page because they are part of his career history. Just because they are minor league it does not mean that you erase it from his page. DMC511 15:17, 27 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Brian Zbydniewski, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page NAIA (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
