[edit]Are you good with graphics? I only ask as some one wants help making a new Barnstar for the polish wikipedia. 'The Ninjalemming' 14:37, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
- I was asking for a polish chap who needed help with a barnstar here and was asking for some one who could help him. I am not that good (actually I am rubbish) with graphics but I thought I read some where that you were, it must have been xeno saying it or something. So could you possibly help him please? Cheers in advace =) 'The Ninjalemming' 15:31, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- Oh I just noticed that some one else has helped hi, so it doesn't matter. Thanks anyway. =P 'The Ninjalemming' 15:34, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- I now have two funky questions; one being that, even though you have a userbox saying you are in the Nintendo taskforce you arn't listed on the page, should I put you on? Two being, your 'Harry Potter is atheist thing' made me all cufufald, where did you find this out, I can't find where it would say or wheather it is a connotation of something-please tell? cheers matey =)'The Ninjalemming' 15:10, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Copyright violations
[edit]You've uploaded a number of album covers and somehow concluded that you own rights to all these album covers. Let me be perfectly and absolutely crystal clear; YOU DO NOT OWN COPYRIGHTS TO THESE ALBUM COVERS. Even if you modify the images, they still count as derivative works and the original copyright holders hold rights to them. I've retagged these images, and ripped them from your navigation bar. These are blatant copyright violations and will be deleted. You've previously been warned [1] regarding improperly tagging things as belonging to you. This is your second warning. Keep it up, and I will recommend you be blocked until you agree to stop making these copyright violations. If you do not understand this topic, then ASK first, such as at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Continuing to upload images and blatantly violating copyright by claiming them as yours will only lead to bad things happening. --Hammersoft (talk) 21:05, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
RE: Hello
[edit]Haha, that's nice to hear! I've learned a lot about being a respected Wikipedian, but I am far from that place. :) You have a wonderful day, TheAE talk/sign 20:11, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
- I doubt Xeno truly "respects me". Plus, that was a very long time ago. :) You should be working on articles! That is the number one way to gain recognition is to focus on the encyclopedia and write articles. Life as a Christian is going good for me! And yes, I am excited about the tournament! Go MSU! :) TheAE talk/sign 19:19, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Ezekiel 7:19/vill
[edit]Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages such as Ezekiel 7:19/vill, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - It is pretty clear this wasn't vandalism, but a misplaced userbox (he forgot to add the User: prefix). Userfying it for him would have been a better approach. –xeno (talk) 19:13, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

Expert Opinion
[edit]I know this really isn't important and I don't want to waste your time but I just wanted to tell you that I've been making userboxes based on college basketball lately (found here) and I just want your expert opinion on how I'm doing so far. Any advice? Thanks!--Ezekiel 7:19 †alk 14:44, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- They look pretty good!... Maybe some images? Of course since the logos would likely be copyrighted, you'd need to find similar free images. –xeno (talk) 14:48, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- You know I tried that (as in using copy written material) but Hammersoft didn't take that very lightly. I'm not sure iwan't to waste my time finding similar free images quite yet. It makes the creation process take longer, well for me at least.--Ezekiel 7:19 †alk 15:06, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- Just try to remember that userboxes and the like are a nice distraction but ultimately we are ultimately here to build the encyclopedia... You have nearly 600 edits, only 27 (0.045%) of which are to the mainspace. Consider joining a WikiProject or helping with WP:DPWL or something like that. –xeno (talk) 15:10, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I know. I try to give myself a good name maybe a bit too much. But hey, UBX created a ton of user boxes and I'm just trying to expand his work by covering college sports as well. As a matter of fact I noticed something missing from a disambiguation page and I think I'll take care of that right now.Cheerio!--Ezekiel 7:19 †alk 15:15, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- UBX isn't an actual person, it's an account created to house userboxen that were migrated from template space in The Great Userbox Migration of 2007... Just look at articles that interest you and see if you can make minor improvements. Or hit Special:Random and learn something new and see if you can improve the article at all. Or patrol Special:RecentChanges. Boost that mainspace count! –xeno (talk) 15:17, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

Christian Films
[edit]Hello again! I know you're a Christian and have an interest in Christian films (maybe not a lot, but there are some on your userpage). Some editors and I have been thinking of starting a Christian Films WikiProject, and I was wondering if you like to add your name to help us get the ball rolling. If so, please add your name here! Thanks. :) TheAE talk/sign 21:50, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
Task Force Christian Film
[edit]Hey, thanks for your interest in the formation of a task force for the subject of Christian films! Would you mind taking a look at the proposal here, and adding your name to the official support list? Thanks! -- Filmcom (talk) 15:37, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- The task force was created! Visit it at Wikipedia:WikiProject Films/Christian films task force (and add your name there, too). See the task force's talk page as well for ongoing discussion. —Erik (talk • contrib) 18:53, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Maybe you should keep a closer eye on your userbox ;)

The Beatles: Rock Band
[edit]I have been anxiously awaiting the game since it was first announced - I love Rock Band and The Beatles - but I don't know much about it. Once I get the game (only -5579 days to go!), I will probably be of more use. Dendodge T\C 15:50, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
Graphics (again)
[edit]hey Ezekiel, remember how you said your girlfriend was good with graphics; well i was just wondering, as your an amazing friend and all, could you, prehaps, get her to mod this image into something that would work as a logo for this WikiProject. Pleaaaaase! =) Your bestest bud 'The Ninjalemming' 18:33, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- Hrm...actually I don't really know what it should look like, maybe...no, it being on fire wold look to much like the Xbox one. Do you know the TimeSplitters series, if so you may have some ideas of what would look cool; remember I am in no hurry, but I will continue to think of it, theres no point asking someone to help if you can't say what you need help doing. I like the new signiture by the way, did you get the end bit from a certain james Bond related character? 'The Ninjalemming' 09:23, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
- I am still thinking about the Crytek one, but I was also going to ask whether she could prehaps, if she has time, do a BioWare one with this in the foreground and the orange and blue glow from this behind it. I am assuming, from my knowledge, that this would be very difficult and would be expecting it for a week even if she dedicated all her time to it; it does lok like a very complicated task and I am only asking if she can do it, she doesn't have too. If she does could I please have it large please so I can just make it smaller for userbox ect purposes. But the Crytek one is still being thunked up. =D 'The Ninjalemming' 18:30, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Hofner bass control.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Hofner bass control.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:25, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Group or band – which one?
[edit]We are holding a straw poll (in a very friendly way, of course) to decide if The Beatles should be called a group, or a band. You can add your user signature to one or the other by clicking this link, Group or band – which one?. Thanks.--andreasegde (talk) 23:57, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Nintendo task force membership update
[edit]It's that time again to update membership status with the Nintendo task force, which we try to do every 3-4 months to keep our membership up-to-date.
All participants have been placed on an "Inactive participants" list. To confirm that you're still a member of the Nintendo task force, simply go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Nintendo#Members and move your name from the "Inactive participants" list to the bottom of the "Active participants" list. If you are no longer an active member in the task force, you may simply remove your name altogether. After 1 month, on October 1, all entries under the "Inactive participants" list will be removed. Hopefully you can stay with us and continue to work on Nintendo-related articles. Regards, MuZemike 17:51, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
Dear WikiProject Video games member,
You are receiving this message because you have either Category:WikiProject Video games members or {{User WPVG}} somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in the recent months.
The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.
All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:
- Editing video game-related pages in the Article namespace
- Participating in video game-related discussions in the Project namespace (WT:VG, WP:AfD, WP:GAN, etc.)
Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.
