A tag has been placed on Robert Clayton Matthews requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. — ERcheck (talk) 00:29, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I read your citations.
I hope that you can find the cheerleading note you are looking for - if I were a voter, I'd have the article as Weak Keep (but a keep nonetheless). Sadly, if Mr. Matthews were alive today, there would be a lot more web information available, which seems to be the most important thing to a lot of editors (which penalizes people whose notability occurred prior to 1990 or so, IMNSHO).74.69.39.11 (talk) 18:46, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re-reading that, it does appear that I was calling you out for not acknowledging me. Allow me to be clearer - keep your chin up. I recently changed my wiki-focus from writing articles to defending prod'd articles. I hope you find those sources, as it may be enough to get some of the incoming editors on your side. My experience is that very few people go back to re-read the comments in an AfD article. I haven't re-read the discussion lately, so I don't know what consensus is building. Good luck!74.69.39.11 (talk) 21:26, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Messed up ISBN's

[edit]

If you are going to create {{cite isbn}} pages, at least get the isbn numbers right. {{Cite isbn/978084932172}} is wrong. AManWithNoPlan (talk) 01:35, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
