No I saw your edit because I had the article on my watchlist, and I knew you were new because your talk page came up as red, ie the page didnt yet exist. TV Genius 01:42, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Userpage and PRC

[edit]

Thanks for the compliments. As for the PRC addition, I didn't add it -- someone was blanking sections from articles, and I was just merely adding it back (as there was no visible reason for the removal in the first place). -→Buchanan-Hermit/?! 01:19, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

helpme

[edit]

Can anyone tell me how to change the color of text? and how to use supercript?

help:editing -- Wirelain 20:56, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Color is accomplished via font tags .. look at the signatures on this page for examples. -- Wirelain 21:05, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Question?

[edit]

Why have you reverted my edits? Thebriarsage 20:32, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I read more about the common rules of disambiguation pages and I see why those were removed. But The change I made to the ebonote page was legit. Ashton pipe stems are generally NOT made of ebonite but rather ashtonite (which is a rubber/plastic polymer) Ebonite Is, however, the most common material used in pipe stem production.

Also...

Carnauba wax is a common finish used for smoking pipes. Why did you choose to revert that statement?

Horn

[edit]

"A horn is a uncommon smoking pipe shape." On the contributor Thebriarsage's talk page you apologized since 'for some reason' you thought something was vandalism. You must have a dirty mind: I had seen it even earlier and had assumedly the same impression — perhaps my mind is quicker, or ... but then I remembered just in time having smoked out of a few horn pipes decades ago and that briar is the preferred wood for pipes ;-) — The article is now reverted back though I rephrased it and showed a link that may help to visualize the authentical object. Linking

[edit]

Is it my computer is it that Wikipedia has suddenly underlined all links?

This is a common problem. Simply do a hard-refresh (Ctrl-F5 in most browsers). Cheers, Tangotango 02:23, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome :) - Tangotango 02:26, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

T.S. Ernesto

[edit]

Hey, Thanks for adding Ernesto to my list, I had completely forgotten about that up until now. I'm actually a bit surprised someone took it upon themselves to add it on my behalf. Thanks again! -- SmthManly / ManlyTalk / ManlyContribs 18:54, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I got attacked by that anon today, on his page, because of the block. Also, you should sign your comments with ~~~~ that way people know who wrote them. If you want to customize your signature go to your prefference and there should be a box there to add markup that cutomizes it... just like mine, see: -- SmthManly / ManlyTalk / ManlyContribs 23:38, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
<font color="black">SmthManly</font> / <font color="blue">ManlyTalk</font> / <font color="blue">ManlyContribs</font>
It seems like a lot, now that I look at it. -- SmthManly / ManlyTalk / ManlyContribs 00:35, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think it shares basic things with it, like br, b, i, u, center, etc. but I don't you can use html for an entire article. -- SmthManly / ManlyTalk / ManlyContribs 00:43, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Why are some links bold?

Do you mean why some links turn black and bold instead of blue and normal? That is if a link to that page is on the page. For example: If I linked to your talkpage right now, it would be bold: User talk:Exteray, but if you moved that link somewhere else, it will become normal. GeorgeMoney (talk) 01:11, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You edited my Kule Loklo two minutes after I submitted the first copy, and before I had finished. Apparently you added the "Needs Cleanup" notice. Why did you add this, and does it still need cleanup?Tamalpa 03:24, 3 September 2006 (UTC)Tamalpa[reply]

Palmetto

[edit]

No you're right, go ahead and remove the one at the bottom, it's better to keep it at the top that way it has an immediate source, not one you have to look for. I got attacked, and actually continue getting attacked, by that anon over the racial things... not that I care what he says, but I just think it ruins my wikipedia experience when someone gets personal, especially since he found my name on my self-made images and used it directly. Also, you forgot to sign on my talkpage, don't forget to sign lest the signature police get on your tail about it.  :-P (and they do exist!) -- SmthManly / ManlyTalk / ManlyContribs 03:17, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey

[edit]

Thanks for your message, I should be fine soon, I still can't believe it happened to me, though. It's just one of those really unexpected things. This is also the first time I've ever lost my memory, but I guess it's a good thing I don't remember smashing my head against a sidewalk, bleeding profusely for 6 hours, and getting 8 stitches in my head, LOL. Still, I dunno... it's just freaking weird that this happened to me. Maybe it's a sign or something, things in life weren't doing very well, now after this my whole accident, my attitude has changed and I'm going to do everything possible to make everything better and face up to my problems. Heck, I could've died... guess that's probably why I'm all into the whole, fuck all the bad shit happening to me and fixing it attitude. I'll see what happens in a year, but it'll definately be changed. Hope you don't think it's weird I'm talking to you this way on wikipedia even though i technically don't know you, lol, it's the drugs I swear. How'd your brother do? -- SmthManly / ManlyTalk / ManlyContribs 07:25, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Help me

[edit]

How do you find all the subpages of an article? For example, I want to find all pages that begin with "User: Exteray/ ..."

To find all of a user's sub-pages, you need to go to http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Special:Prefixindex&namespace=2&from=Exteray/ (Just change Exteray to whatever username your searching for) --Casper2k3 02:57, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I deleted submergent plant since the saved article was just a dictionary definition. I'm sure that you are going to tell me that you are about to flesh it out with examples, but many "articles" stay as one sentence until they are deleted. I've looked at the other article you mentioned, and I can see where you are going. It's always a good idea to write the article in a word processor so that there is enough text to avoid deletion by those of us who monitor new pages. Sorry for the inconvenience, jimfbleak 16:22, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. One query eelgrass links to wild celery, but that article doesn't mention eelgrass. If they are synonyms, shouldn't that be added? jimfbleak 08:03, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Remote Access Router, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template hangon to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
