Speedy deletion nomination of Exqwirex

[edit]

Hello Exqwirex,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Exqwirex for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Josu4u (talk) 19:22, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Exqwirex

[edit]

Hello Exqwirex,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged User:Exqwirex for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

Contested deletion

[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) --Exqwirex (talk) 20:44, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

its my user page and contains my details so i don't feel a need for my personal data to be deleted.

Writing about yourself

[edit]

The nominator has removed the speedy deletion template from your userpage. You are welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, but please be aware that it is not a place like Facebook or LinkedIn for people to write about themselves. It is a quite different sort of site, a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about subjects for articles. Writing about oneself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography.

Wikipedia user pages are not like those at social networking sites. Their use is explained at WP:NOTWEBHOST:

"Wikipedians have their own user pages, but they should be used primarily to present information relevant to working on the encyclopedia. Limited biographical information is allowed, but user pages should not function as personal webpages or be repositories for large amounts of material that is irrelevant to collaborating on Wikipedia. If you are looking to make a personal webpage or blog or to post your résumé, please make use of one of the many free providers on the Internet or any hosting included with your Internet account."

You can find out more about Wikipedia at the WP:Welcome page and the WP:Introduction, as well as Wikipedia's plain and simple conflict of interest guide. Thanks. --Drm310 (talk) 21:47, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You repeatedly add some unsourced content in Taenia solium while removing properly cited information. While everyone is welcome to make contructive edits, your act is violation of the Wikipedia policy (specifically verifiability). Users are constantly blocked from misbehaviour like this. Kindly read throroughly how tor write in Wikipedia and using sources. Chhandama (talk) 03:32, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Asian Month is COMING!

[edit]

Hi Exqwirex ,

The Wikipedia Asian Month will begin in less than an hours, and once again, thank you for signing up! Let's help the world know more about Asia! Below are a few reminders for you:

  1. Please check out the rules here. Some rules have been adjusted—the most important being that on the English Wikipedia, stubs may be expanded with some limitations.
  2. Do take the time to read the Q&A if you have any questions, or ask on the talk page.
  3. The list of participants has been alphabetized so you can more easily find your name and report your contributions.
  4. There is a template that you can use on your user page. {{Template:User Asian Month‎}}

Enjoy the Wikipedia Asian Month :) --AddisWang (talk)

Invitation from Wikipedia Asian Month 2016

[edit]

Thanks for partipating Wikipedia Asian Month last year, and I hope you enjoy it. Last year, more than 7,000 articles contribute to Wikipedia in 43 languages in Wikipedia Asian Month, making us one of the largest event on Wikipedia. We will organize this event again in upcoming November, and would like to invite you join us again.

This year, we are lowering down the standards that you only need to create 4 (Four) articles to receive a postcard (new design), and articles only need to be more than 3,000 bytes and 300 words. We are also improving our postcard sending process, e.g. making the postcards right now, and collecting the address after the event ends without waiting other languges.

Wikipedians who create the most articles on each Wikipedia will be honored as "Wikipedia Asian Ambassadors". We will send you both digital copy, and a paper copy of the Ambassador certificate.

Thank you for considering! --AddisWang (talk)
