Magnum PI (Season 4)

[edit]

TheDoctorWho is the one who is edit warring. He wants consensus, but he reverted another editor who already agreed with me. That's 2 to 1 against TheDoctorWho's preferred edits. 136.49.32.166 (talk) 15:36, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, I see that now.
Also, TIL they rebooted Magnum P.I. Explodicator7331 (talk) 15:41, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Also, another editor chimed in, he agrees that discussing potential crossovers is WP Crystal Ball. :) 136.49.32.166 (talk) 15:42, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Would you consider reverting your revert given the circumstances? I opened a discussion on the Talk Page explicitly per TheDoctorWho's request (and I didn't want an edit war either). Thank you! 136.49.32.166 (talk) 15:54, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, sure thing. I'll go un-revert my revert.
Also, have you tried reporting them to Administrators? Explodicator7331 (talk) 15:57, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, I appreciate it! I'm using an IP address, not sure if I'm able to report anyone, lol.136.49.32.166 (talk) 16:10, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
When 1) an editor removes something because they believe it violates WP:CRYSTALBALL, and then 2) Another edit reverts it. In a case that is NOT clear cut, i.e. there is no obvious way to determine if it is a violation or not, discussion then takes place. WP:BRD is the only thing that should have initially applied here, the IP editor should have let the WP:STATUSQUO remain in the article while discussion took place until a consensus is reached. NOT continuously reverted to their preferred version. Wikipedia does not use voting so 2-to-1 means nothing. The editor that reverted their initial revert did so on a potential false positive. TheDoctorWho (talk) 16:35, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I mean, the paragraph you made was based on rumors. If we allowed rumors in Wikipedia, then it would be twice as big. Explodicator7331 (talk) 17:04, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
"Wikipedia does not use voting so 2-to-1 means nothing." So how is consensus reached? Is it a warm, cuddly feeling?136.49.32.166 (talk) 21:51, 21 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Pending changes reviewer granted

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.
