Proposed deletion of Exebit
[edit]The article Exebit has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Not notable
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Pontificalibus (talk) 14:10, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
Articles for deletion nomination of Exebit
[edit]I have nominated Exebit, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Exebit. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Pontificalibus (talk) 14:41, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Your choice of username
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, Exebit, may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it is promotional in nature. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may file for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account and use that for editing. Thank you. --otherlleft 16:58, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing this out. Exebit is not a business organization, but it does qualify as a group. My apologies for not noticing this earlier. I have applied for a change of username. If the request is not accepted, I will work with a new account. Thanks again. Exebit (talk) 17:46, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
- A clerk notice has been posted at your rename request. Jarkeld (talk) 16:09, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).
A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
- Adding
{{unblock-un|your new username here}}
on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page. - At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
- Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
- Adding
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. -- Cirt (talk) 18:54, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
