New York World Telegram

[edit]

I should be able to get you a high-res scan of the microfilm edition of that paper, if you're interested. It will take at least a week, maybe more, depending on the speed of my interlibrary loan. But apparently they do have that particular date, so if it's really there, it should be there. If you leave me your e-mail address, I'll send it to you whenever I get it. --Mr.98 (talk) 00:28, 5 November 2010 (UTC) Thank you so much...my e mail...evetsnibur@msn.com Please advise of any expenses you may incur..[reply]

Thanks so much for your attempt to get me the Jan 1st edition 1936, (front page) of the NY world telegram and Sun..e mail is evetsnibur@msn.com..Evetsnibur (talk) 03:18, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I've put in the loan request — it's definitely in the "system" that I have access to (the Center for Research Libraries). It will probably take a week or so to process, and then I can scan it here (which is very easy). I'll let you know. It won't cost anything. (Or, at least, it won't cost me anything — my research institution will probably spend some postage on it, but that's part of what they do and one of the advantages at being at a good research institution...) --Mr.98 (talk) 18:05, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
