Hi. I've declined speedy on this as it isn't nonsense. Nonsense for G1 has to be something like kkiuxtyrxkub loiibllgf yyj or at least so incomprehensible that it couldn't even pass as surreal poetry. Gibberish is a better name for this category. How much use this article is, I haven't decided yet. I'm feeling a bit too tired to go into it tonight, so if you want to prod or AfD it on some other grounds, go ahead. I've put it on my watch list. Will have more energy tomorrow. Cheers. Peridon (talk) 21:00, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Stephen Randall (political scientist)

[edit]

Just a courtesy note that I've declined speedy deletion on Stephen Randall (political scientist). It looks like he meets WP:ACADEMIC; he held a named chair at American University. That's enough to prevent a speedy delete under A7.

Of course, depending on how the article evolves, it may still warrant deletion discussion via the normal AfD process. —C.Fred (talk) 03:19, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Altered speedy deletion rationale: Anthony Humes

[edit]

Hello Snpp. I am just letting you know that I deleted Anthony Humes, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided, which doesn't fit the page in question. Thank you. Salvio Let's talk about it! 16:05, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion converted to PROD: Mr. Sunny is Funny!

[edit]

Hello Snpp. I am just letting you know that I have converted the speedy deletion tag that you placed on Mr. Sunny is Funny! to a proposed deletion tag, because I do not believe CSD applies to the page in question - WP:CSD#A7 does not apply to books. If you are going to do New Page Patrol (which is a very good and useful thing to do) you should read WP:CSD carefully. There is good advice for speedy taggers from an experienced admin at WP:10CSD and WP:A7M. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 16:44, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Shoqata Çameria

[edit]

Hello Snpp. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Shoqata Çameria, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. Thank you. Salvio Let's talk about it! 16:52, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion converted to PROD: Oldstep

[edit]

Hello Snpp. I am just letting you know that I have converted the speedy deletion tag that you placed on Oldstep to a proposed deletion tag, because I do not believe CSD applies to the page in question, since it would be a genre, not a band. Thank you. Tikiwont (talk) 19:01, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

speedy deletion declined

[edit]

Hi, Snpp. I declined your speedy tag at Fried Chicken (movie) because A7 does not apply to creative works, such as films. I did add a PROD notice because of the article's obvious lack of notability. Cheers. CactusWriter (talk) 00:28, 13 October 2011 (UTC) the website in question is still online - http://pornwikileaks.info/wp/ as an added page for more information on the owners and authors of the site. including but not limited to the defamation and libel posted there as it still publishes illegal and criminal information to this day.[reply]

Speedy deletion declined

[edit]

Hello SNPP. I have removed the speedy deletion tag from Killer Toys, as it is not pure vandalism, as you had tagged it. --kelapstick(bainuu) 04:01, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New deal for page patrollers

[edit]

Hi Evelhal,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
