churches of Abkhazia

[edit]

¡Hola! I think you have been mistaken. The site [1] is about ancient church-buildings located in Abkhazia and not about the Orthodox Church in (or of) Abkhazia. Check it yourself - it should be evident even for a person who does not know Russian.

ps. Actually I'm now writing the article about the religion in Abkhazia. Alaexis 18:12, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Have you read what I'd written you? This web-site is about church-buildings, how can it be POV? Not a single Georgian editor has been against the link to this site, although it has been here for quite a while. Alaexis 18:31, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Starovoitova

[edit]

Again, I think you are mistaken. Galina Starovoitova had been one of the most prominent democrats in Russia before she was asassinated. Particularly she was a defender of ethnic minorities in Russia. Check the article about her. Alaexis 18:31, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could you give me a link to an example of the bashing of Georgia by G. Starovoitova? It's quite hard to believe in it for me...
I'll restore the link to the site about Abkhazian churches now and wait for some time with Starovoitova's article, in case she's really biased. Alaexis 18:47, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, at first I didn't notice you did not delete it again. Alaexis 19:10, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I've re-added the link to the article in question as you haven't provided the evidence of G. Starovoitova's bias. Alaexis 05:30, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Could you provide some Georgian source calling her fascist? Alaexis 14:05, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kaixo

[edit]

Kaixo Jose, My name is Joe and I am a member of the Basque WikiProject and I am also a maintainer of the Basque Portal, you seem like you would be great for first hand knowledge and I encourage you to join the WikiProject.--Joebengo 21:11, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am just stopping by to let you know that I have a RfA and it would be great if you could put in your two cents about me.--Joebengo 02:39, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Iberia maps

[edit]

Kaixo Euskera and thanks for taking an interest in Georgia. Yes, I have a few maps, but they are mostly in Georgian. I remember there was quite a good set of maps in Catalan Wikipedia. I will soon provide you with the links. Cheers, --KoberTalk 19:39, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I will try to find out more maps of Iberia. Best, --KoberTalk 19:55, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Euskera, thanks for your accurate academic contributions on wikipedia. Next time, just revert Georgia article, because users who vandalize it are not able to hold an academic discussion nor they are interested in expanding their knowledge about the country. I have a belief that the argument must be supported by verifiable sources and the previous section was indeed supported by tons of sources, including book, academic journals ans etc. SosoMK 17:46, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Basque Wikiproject

[edit]

Well what specific projects do you need help with, ill be more than happy to help with anything you need.--Joebengo 19:09, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ill be happy to help, my RfA isnt looking so good, seems like people only care about how many edits a person has and not the quality of their work, I am thinking about just withdrawing it soon and just coming back to do it in 3 months or so. I was born in Dayton, Ohio and I have a very limited knowledge of the Basque language, I dunno if it would be a good idea for me to do translating, maybe we could find some people at the Basque wikipedia who would know english and would be better able to translate it.--Joebengo 21:39, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Batasuna

[edit]

Hi Euskera. I am undoing your edit at Batasuna because, at first sight, it doesn't make sense to me: we can't say that Batasuna is, in Basque language, "Herri Batasuna" like if "Batasuna" meant anything in any other language, right? I mean, Batasuna is already Basque language and can't be translated into Basque language again!.

Didn't they change their name from the former Herri Batasuna to just Batasuna recently? I am almost sure about that. I guess the confusion stems from there. Have a good day. Mountolive | Talk 17:33, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. Thank you. Mountolive | Talk 20:31, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not revert the United Nations page. Discuss first. I am a long standing editor on that page. This is a major international UN issue right now I have 87 news reports 86 if we drop Tiraspol Times. [[6]] I will however make it more nuetral than it currently reads. Otherwise other editors will insert it anyway. . Buffadren 09:39, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi Euskera. Your idea of starting Caucasian Iberians article was indeed great and I appreciate you work on April 9 article. Hope to join you soon in your good work. Thanks again.--KoberTalk 20:49, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:56, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
