- I am specifically talking about your addition of the links to wikifonia, I don't believe these would be allowed per WP:EL. –xeno (talk) 20:48, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for your note helping me understand your contributions a little better. Please stand by while I review the situation again. –xeno (talk) 23:47, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- My main concern at-a-glance was the fact that you were submitting the link in a new section that would then likely consist entirely of the external link. If indeed these links are appropriate, adding them to the external links section would be a better idea. As to whether or not we can accept the links at all, I'm not entirely sure. We don't typically allow links to lyric sites because they represent copyright infringement, so I'm not sure how that would inform this issue. Perhaps it may be best if the issue were raised at WT:WPMUSIC or WT:SONGS, or something of the sort? In any case, if you want to re-add some of these links to see how it goes, please tuck them into the external links section, rather than creating a new one solely for the sheet music. –xeno (talk) 23:55, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- I must admit that music articles are not my forte, so perhaps asking the more general questions would be best done at those two wikiprojects (music and/or songs) I linked above. Also unless the wikifonia pages are covered in secondary sources it seems a bit of a stretch to label them "Notable transcriptions". But you could always try tucking the links into the External links section and see if anyone else objects (at which point a wikiproject-level discussion should occur before proceeding with any more links). –xeno (talk) 00:06, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
- No problem, go for it. –xeno (talk) 12:28, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
