Spotify is a source
Your comment on declining “Tom Thum” is not accurate. Spotify is a source. You can only say that if nobody cites it. I cited it, which means it must be a source. If you meant it wasn’t a reliable one, that is also inaccurate. You don’t expect they get this date from nowhere, do you? The artist or the artist’s label, when they ask them to get it on their store or app or whatever, no matter if it’s in person (probably unlikely), email or a suggestion on their website, they will probably say when it was released/when they want it released. When they accept it, they would show the details (which was noted by the artist) of the song on the song on Spotify. This makes it reliable. CheatCodes4ever (talk) 22:05, 1 January 2020 (UTC)
- CheatCodes4ever I suppose I should have said Spotify is not a good source. This is for a few reasons:
- Spotify does not really write about music since it is just a streaming service.
- Being available on Spotify does not suffice to establish notability for the artist or their works.
- Spotify is arguably not an independent source since the artist recieves royalties from it.
- Hope this helps clarify things. eπ/💬 23:22, 1 January 2020 (UTC)

Your Signature
Hello, I'm Djm-leighpark. I wanted to let you know that your signature design might cause problems for some readers. This is because of low colour contrast, an unreadable font, use of shadows, or suchlike. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines and policy on customising signatures. Thank you.
