License tagging for Image:Pgeniculatus.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Pgeniculatus.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:09, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Tiinfestans2.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. This article is almost entirely unreferenced, and all the references there are are packed into one small section which "still has yet to be refined". The remainder is pure speculation. I removed the content added today bringing it back to the way you left it, but to my surprise you have restored all of the contested unreferenced material. Per WP:BURDEN, contested unreferenced material should not be simply restored so I will remove it one more time. Please do not simply reinstate it again. If it is being worked on, perhaps consider moving it to Draft space until it can be put live. Dorsetonian (talk) 18:33, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it is being worked on, thus we will work on the draft as you suggested. Fernando Otalora Luna (talk) 18:42, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. From a little research, I can find no evidence that "Non-Assisted reproductive technology" exists as a term to describe anything like what is being postulated in this article. Are you sure this could ever meet inclusion criteria? Dorsetonian (talk) 18:54, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also, from the names of editors involved in the page I wonder if this is some kind of school project. If so, have you seen Wikipedia:Student assignments? Dorsetonian (talk) 19:02, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The content was restored. I moved it to Draft:Non-Assisted reproductive technology. Dorsetonian (talk) 19:07, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The inclusion criteria is covered as Xenobots are in this category, and the other mentioned technologies are hypothetical, but note that this is in the category "Hypothetical technologies". And yes, it is related with a school assignment. Will let my students know to work marginally, before we have something ready. Fernando Otalora Luna (talk) 19:08, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Non-Assisted reproductive technology. Thanks! WPscatter t/c 21:14, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Etotalora. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Non-Assisted reproductive technology".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. plicit 05:49, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
