- @Delta13C: In your review you mention that there are problems with the sourcing of biographical information, and you recommend that I cite sources with footnotes. All biographical information is sourced with footnotes. The only biographical info that is not sourced in the lead is her birthday. As I understand it, according to the manual of style, [Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Lead_section#Citations], the lead should not contain any redundant footnotes, and her birthdate is already sourced in at least two citations, the Canadian Encyclopedia and Canadian Art. Can you please be very specific about what biographical info is unsourced? Sandra Rechico (talk) | (contribs) 21:11, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
- Hi there. There are a number of statements in the body of the article that do not have in-line citations. Are these sentences inheriting citations from elsewhere? It is also not clear if she meets notability guidelines, which another editor should confirm -Delta13C (talk) 07:47, 16 May 2016 (UTC)
- @Delta13C: Hi, That doesn't answer my question. As for your new comments; all statements are sourced, the article was written by starting with the sources. If it is not clear to you which statement is supported by which citation, then please point those out. With regards to notability, Hurlbut meets WP:GNG and WP:ARTIST. She is 3) subject of a film as well as a book 4b) was a substantial part of significant exhibition 4c) has received significant critical attention and 4d) is represented within the permanent collections of several notable galleries or museums. Additionally, there is an entry on her in the Canadian encyclopedia.
