Notes
[edit]Hi! I have some notes for you:
- This needs some general editing for grammar and style. You also want to avoid any unattributed, subjective wording like "beautiful", as these will be inherently non-neutral in tone. I've re-written the early life section and retitled it as biography, as the section covered his entire life, not just his early life.
- Some portions of the page are unsourced, such as the artwork section. You also don't need to list the price of an artwork - the only time this should be mentioned is if there's a lot of coverage surrounding the sale of the given piece of art.
- Be careful of how you phrase claims. In the lead you state that he "was the creator of the traditional birch canoes and baskets", however this implies that he originally created them in general - which would be implausible. It's better to write something like "and known for creating traditional birch canoes and baskets", since this is more to the point.
- Wikipedia cannot be used to source itself. We can link to the articles within the artist's article, but they cannot be used as sourcing.
- The sourcing needs to explicitly state the claims that it's being used to source. Many of the sources look to just be official websites or social media profiles of various people or locations and don't actually say anything about Bridges. As such, these can't be used to back up the claims and also cannot be used to establish notability. This needs independent, reliable sourcing that is specifically about Bridges.
- I removed the section about education since this is already covered in the biography section.
- The publications section should only contain works that were written by Bridges himself. Anything that was written about him should generally be used as a source. We can have a further reading section for the sourcing that would be primary, such as the book his wife wrote about him, however in this case I've turned it into a legacy section.
This needs some further general cleanup, but most importantly it needs sourcing. Keep in mind that the sourcing must be about Bridges and not generally about something like say, how to make something or a general link to a location or person's official website.
