Hi Erwin, welcome to Wikipedia. Just thought I'd drop you a quick line to say it might be worth getting a bit more experience before you start removing speedy-deletion notices and PRODs from articles you're not otherwise involved with. "Involves well-known facts" isn't a valid reason for removing a speedy-deletion notice when the claim is that those "facts" are so blatantly unverifiable in reliable sources that the article appears to be a hoax. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to William G. Roll, Sr., did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 09:08, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with List of BrainSurge episodes. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 09:12, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue removing Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Darbari family, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 09:14, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to 802 Naval Air Squadron. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 09:26, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Rjwilmsi 09:56, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I had to remove a good chunk of your userpage because it was taken from a CC-BY-SA source without attribution. CIreland (talk) 11:21, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Impersonation?

[edit]

Is there any particular reason why you are a. copying other's user pages, and b. you have the same first paragraph as JaimeKnopfler? - Tbsdy lives (formerly Ta bu shi da yu) talk 10:23, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your maintenance tags on Réjean Houle

[edit]

Could you please explain why you tagged this article for:

  • not having a lead section, when the first sentence before the table of contents is a lead section;
  • not being notable, when the subject was a professional athlete at the highest level of competition;
  • needing copyediting, when there are no observable problems; and
  • needing wikifying, when the article is already substantially wikified?

Your contributed article, Darbari- the royal rajput family

[edit]

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Darbari- the royal rajput family. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Darbari family. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Darbari family - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. — Timneu22 · talk 11:42, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Darbari family, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. — Timneu22 · talk 11:48, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
