Hey ErrantX
Hey ErrantX
I really need to contact you about the page http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Alex_Gilbert as I am his representation. I have left an incident report on Wikipedia. I can not unlock it and I need a small article made and locked from editing if possible. Please let me know if you can help out. Thank you!

- (talk page stalker)Hey, not to butt in here, but just so you know: articles on Wikipedia are not locked from editing (called page protection in Wikipedia parlance) unless they absolutely have to be because of edit-warring or vandalism, and never fully-protected permanently; they will not be protected merely to enforce a particular version of an article. See the protection policy for more details on when and why pages are locked from editing. Writ Keeper ⚇♔ 05:04, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

User:JohnClarknew
Hi Errant. I'm sure you remember the issues with User:JohnClarknew and the John Clark (actor) article. I recently had cause to make some minor edits to John Clark (actor), but unfortunately User:JohnClarknew still seems to be fully engaged with the article. See: User talk:Onorem#What R U talking about? and Talk:John Clark (actor)#Memphisto, at it again
User:JohnClarknew's editing seems to break every main Wikipedia policy: Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, Wikipedia:Ownership of articles, Wikipedia:Civility, Wikipedia:No personal attacks, Wikipedia:Edit warring, Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:Consensus, Wikipedia:No original research, but at the same time we should never forget that there is a person involved here.
To avoid antagonizing User:JohnClarknew, I won't respond to his edits or comments at the moment. But it would be good if the admins could formulate a plan of action, which will swiftly bring this longstanding issue to an end.
Also, as User:JohnClarknew is obviously unhappy with other editors editing an article about himself; has anyone asked him if he would instead agree to the article being deleted in it's entirety from Wikipedia? memphisto 10:57, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
CDNIS
I did some additional editing, and semi protected. This should deal with it. DGG ( talk ) 03:32, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
