[edit]Its only perchy when someone says its is. Besides, I'm not being hard nosed about anything. Sea birds do not live in water, nor are they adapted to. There's nothing wrong in my opinion with answering a criticism. And i don't think there's anything wrong with asking for a consensus or a vote. My argument is clear. I see no wrong in any of my actions, so please do not lecture me. I am not talking in anger here, so excuse me if it looks like it, I may be young, but I am a very mature person. Suspicious edits? I understand that Wikipedia is literally frightened of people who may edit a featured article for fear that it would get ruined. But changing a few words is not suspicious, unless its offensive, which it wasn't. It was a scentific discussion.
So unless this is a warning, good day to you sir, and leave me be. Tourskin 06:20, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit]I'm cool. I too believe in discussion, hence I took part in one. I look forward to an academic discussion with you. Tourskin 23:46, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for the corrections you made to Euro gold and silver commemorative coins. I was wondering if you have an interest in the area, since we do need help to complete the family of articles related to euro gold and silver coins. If you have an interest and want to help, can you let me know? Thanks, Miguel.mateo (talk) 04:57, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
[edit]Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 18:25, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. International legal personality
[edit]Don't just delete whole portions like that. a bit of discussion is at least required. Weak presumptions about actual international law is not valid reason to delete portions of a topic regarding international law that most know nothing about. What is your qualifications to be deleting int'l legal concepts that people should know about? like UN Nationals being international legal personalities. 98.148.220.167 (talk) 08:40, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
- A bit of discussion, like 288 words of it maybe? (Not counting the quote of the deleted section itself.)
- The six objections I wrote about there are, as I said, only a start on the multiple massive misunderstandings that are in the deleted section. But, as I said, if you can defend the deleted section against more than half of them, then it might be worth continuing the discussion.
- I do not believe there are any qualifications you would accept, other than agreeing with you.
- I also do not believe any credential is worth as much as an informed, well-reasoned, and clearly worded discussion about facts, meaning, and law.
- Feel free to meet me on that playing field, instead of the worthless and hideously predictable game of "I don't have to accept anything you say, now say something that will change that." eritain (talk) 23:37, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
