[edit]Hello Erisimo. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Ermenegildo Zegna (fashion entrepreneur), but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Erisimo. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Erisimo|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Matthew hk (talk) 11:32, 15 January 2020 (UTC)
You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jeremy112233. Thank you. DIVINE 16:28, 24 June 2022 (UTC)- Hi @DIVINE and thanks a lot for your feedback :)
- Even if the article dedicated to Zegna (brand) had been approved and published, we noticed that the entry has been removed and redirected to “Zegna” (as you can see from the Revision history: https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Zegna_(brand)&action=history)
- User Praxidicae, who removed the article, affirms that in his opinion the entry is promotional and overlaps in content with the Zegna article. However the Zegna entry refers to the whole Ermenegildo Zegna Group, a listed company which includes also other brands such as Thom Browne, Lanificio Zegna, Tessitura di Novara, Dondi, Bonotto.
- The publishing of a new article dedicated to Zegna brand, in our opinion, is related to the need of distinguishing the brand, its history and its evolution, from that of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group. In order to better clarify this difference, some weeks ago I asked the community to rename the Zegna article in “Ermenegildo Zegna Group”, but the request was rejected.
- Could you please help us restore it or maybe suggest some improvements or reviews that could be implemented to make the entry even more neutral?
- Thanks a lot in advance! Erisimo (talk) 11:03, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
- But i saw that the article is already available on wikipedia as Zegna & Praxidicae redirect it. So, please ask with her or ask for help in WP:TEAHOUSE. DIVINE 19:54, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
