AfD for Petromin Corporation

[edit]

Hello Eric, It is customary in AfD debates to start your remark with either Keep or Delete in bold, to help the closing administrator summarize the opinions. You are entitled to state your opinion in this way. I recommended Keep myself. Cullen328 (talk) 23:30, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Cullen, After reading my previous comment I realize that it didn't come across as "cordial" and I apologize. I appreciate the help, and thank you for bringing it to my attention. Eric Statzer (talk) 23:53, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You are more than welcome. I had no complaints about your editing, just a suggestion. Cullen328 (talk) 00:06, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Raymond Jungles Inc., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Cntras (talk) 02:15, 11 February 2011 (UTC) [reply]

Edit summary

[edit]

Hi Eric!, and
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Benjamin Franklin. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Please provide the edit summary before saving your edits. Thank you very much! – Paine Ellsworth ( CLIMAX )  20:23, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Halls High School

[edit]

You reverted my edit to Halls High School without giving any reason for the reversion. Since I had documented the reasons for my edits -- and I believe my edit was entirely consistent with Wikipedia guidelines -- I have reverted you.

The lead sentence that I restored to the article does not remove anything from the article, but it is a better summary of key points (consistent with WP:Lead section) and it includes key information that was omitted from the other version. (Please note that the infobox is supposed to summarize the text -- it is not a substitute for text.)

As for "I am a Halls High Red Devil. I proudly wear my red and white. Being a Red Devil means I am part of a school that represents years of academic excellence...", I stand by my assertion that this content is not encyclopedic.

Please use edit summaries to document the reasons for your edits, and please abide by Wikipedia policy and guidelines. Thank you. --Orlady (talk) 02:57, 20 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
