"I am warning you not to revert my edits to that article again. Eric Corbett 17:34, 1 January 2017 (UTC)"

And who are you to threaten me as such? Castncoot (talk) 17:37, 1 January 2017 (UTC)
Just someone who knows a lot more about the subject than you do. Please take my warning seriously. Eric Corbett 17:39, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

Hi, I've recently come across Pitfour estate and think it is in good shape and would do well for the diversity of Today's Featured Article, so would like to nominate it. However, as a primary editor of the article, I'd like to check this would be okay with you before doing so (also in case you were planning any big changes to the article in the near future as well). Thanks, Mojo0306 (talk)

You ought to check with @Sagaciousphil:, as it's really her article, not mine. Eric Corbett 22:16, 9 January 2017 (UTC)

Eric...happy new year...and...

...how right you were. That one slipped under my radar, apparently. Hope you're doing well, and your ferrets too. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 00:13, 21 January 2017 (UTC)

Entering into the arms of Jesus

Long time away, but good news - I'm back now - time off for good behaviour! I have just perchanced to read Anthony Eden, which in turn lead me to Margaret Thatcher and then Winston Churchill; where I have discovered (putting aside my hatred of info-boxes) that according to their info boxes, Britain's prime ministers are not buried after death, but given "resting places." This is vomit making and smacks of people "passing away" "going to a better place" and generally doing anything but dying. This tiptoeing about over death is ridiculous and not at all British and to be brutally honest - rather wince-making and certainly not encyclopedic. I don't think Churchill would like having a resting place, and whatever one thinks of Thatcher, she can't possibly be resting anywhere because she was cremated. I've tried altering it, but there must be a master cylinder hidden somewhere - have you any idea how to change it? I don't mind American presidents resting all over the place because that's how they do things there, but I do think Europeans should be given a decent burial. Giano! - Most of these templates are edit-protected, but you could go to the talk of {{infobox person}} or what ever she has. I am not there often, but would be surprised if you were the first. In my "articles", I fill death_place but not that whatever. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:08, 22 January 2017 (UTC)
I looked it up: she has {{Infobox prime minister}}. Shake head. I use "person" for all persons, all created equal. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:13, 22 January 2017 (UTC)
Yes, I have just found that and commented [1] We shall be having be having: "Waiting for the Angelic Holy Trumpets at Arlinton Cemetery" next. It seems I am back only in the nix of time to stop this place descending to a twee person's paradise. Giano (talk) 20:15, 22 January 2017 (UTC)
